My room is 11x14x10 right now im only running a 1000w and a 600w and im using a 435cfm fan ( I just moved upgrading this week I know this is not adequate ) I will be running 6x600's and will be venting to a roof using a 10in square vent pipe that is permanent in my building...thats the problem im not sure if using a 12in max fan 1700cfm will be to much pressure on the 10 in pipe .. in the room I will have 2 rows of 600s 3 in each row and I will use a split.... Any Venting pros out there wanna help.. the next size fan down is the 10 in max fan like 1200cfm i think.... also I have a 6 in fresh air duct that is filtered for an intake I plan on moving the 435 cfm fan to the intake.... I will have at least 4 of the six light up this week

I am also thinking about just using the 435 to push through the lights and adding another on the other side to suck so there would be one on each side using two splits... then get like an 800cfm and use it separate with a carbon filter and have all three fans pushing into the same 10 in roof exhaust...??? what would work better?

Really ? no one? I gotta get my new fan today its just getting so hot outside my room is hitting 81*f and im only running 1600w so I just need to know what you guys think.... will the 1700cfm 12in being reduced to 10in at the exhaust and split into to 6in at a wye on the lights be too much reduction i feel like reducing the 12in fan down two a ten to a 8x6x6 split will be roasting the fan? PLEASE HELP just need some outside input im getting one or the other haha

im assuming you need to keep the noise level down a bit... if you can have a bit of fan noise, i would suggest looking into blower fan assemblies. i know it isnt common around here and there are haters that say you should only use XXX shit because its "proven" or "the old way". i found a fan that has a 4 inch intake, and a 4 inch exhaust that cost me under a hundred bucks and moves 940 cfm. i then bought a speed controller and was able to knock the speed of the fan down to an adequate level so it didnt exhaust the room to quickly (the speed controller i will suggest to you no matter what fan setup you choose). i run 2 - 1k watt lights (one veg one flower) and they are in completely different rooms (each room is 8 long, 4 deep, 8 tall). i have this fan sitting between then and pulling through sealed light reflectors. at the opposite side of the reflector, i ran a 6"duct up to the ceiling so it pulls hot air from the roof and exhausts it through the light, and out the room. that is probably your best bet. daisy chain the ducting on the lights so that one end goes to fan, all lights connected together via ducting, and the open end at the very last light, run 6" ducting to the ceiling to pull the hot air from the top of the room. report back with what your able to keep your temps at. with that much lighting your going to need to consider A/C as well if you havent already(depending on where you live).

Are you talking about like a furnace blower? I ended up ordering the 10in max fan its 1020cfm If it does not move enough air I will just grab another 700cfm or so.Thanks
