Ztelthys 100W HPS TV Cabinet Conversion (Pimped Out !!!)

Just looked through your whole thread mate.......... crikey.... that cab is first class!! You've done a cracking job - I bow down to your attention to detail!!! Sounds like you have the same 'woman troubles' as the majority of married growers - I'm under strict instruction to not discuss my...

Long time grower, first time Coco Grow

Cheers for all your replies guys.... which I foolishly read only after I'd put them in the big pots, without washing the coco!!! :( I'm sure it'll be fine anyway - as with most things regarding growing, some say one thing, others say another... different strokes for different folks! As per...

    First Grow Help Please

I'd recommend investing in decent fans, as cheap ones will just start to get noisy after a while. In my experience carbon filters are carbon filters, just buy one big enough for your grow area. As a previous poster said; keep it simple. You'll see people with all sorts of complicated...

    JackBerry Grow

That is one very, very nice grow! Loving the purple, you'll have a nice mix of schmoke there! IMHO I'm not sure you'll get 50oz there though, I'm always shocked how much weight & size you lose when drying everything.....I hope you do though! Either way, you've done a fantastic job!!

Need ideas for this grow space

OOOhhh... sliding.... now there's a thought! That could be really useful in an area that small. You'll want to be able to get in to the taller bit, so maybe you could consider LST and then just grow the plants horizontally almost... could be a idea?AltarNation is right on the money though: to...

Long time grower, first time Coco Grow

Cheers mate - great advice!I'll use the CFL for the first fortnight then - seems like overkill using the HPS so early in the cycle.... and obviously it'll save a shedload of electricity too.And I'll give the bonemeal a go, but I'll go easy on it... I'm sure they'll thank me for it.I'm hoping for...

Need ideas for this grow space

I think you'll struggle to break that into 2 areas - I'd use your stealth dresser for vegging, then this area for flowering. Remember that you're going to need to get in there to tend to your babies and you don't want it to be too much of a pain to do so.You might be ok with a 250w HPS in that...

Long time grower, first time Coco Grow

Hi Guys n Gals - I'm taking a leap into coco growing, so I thought I'd best get other people thoughts before I dive in! Set-up I'm using my tent again, a Hydrolab jobbie that's 1.2m tall, 1m wide and 60cm deep.... not massive, but it suits me perfectly and doesn't upset the wife! My trusty...

Are cheap fan controllers worth the bother?

Cheers Kev - I'm gonna find something cheap I reckon... the fans are very low power so I dont need to spend a massive amount.

Are cheap fan controllers worth the bother?

Hahah - obviously we're not big fans of the Police over here, but I know they're pretty good compared to police in the US! The only guns anyone can really own over here are shotguns and even then you have to have a proper licence and they're checked annually (I think). They have to be hidden...

Are cheap fan controllers worth the bother?

Cheers for the quick reply mate! Yeah, I just need to keep the noise down a bit... might get some acoustic ducting at the same time too. I'm currently reading up about 'variac' controllers which might be the way to go..... my old man is a sparky, so I think I might ask him whats the best way...

Are cheap fan controllers worth the bother?

On my basic tent set-up I've got 2 x 4" inch fans (one in, one out) but I think I need to slow them down a bit to ease the noise.... its not overly noisy, but the concern I have is that next door keep shotguns in their loft and its checked once a year by the police........ they didn't notice...

2 Weeks into flower first grow

You are gonna have some serious bud there mate! What are you feeding them? If you're keeping it basic, I can highly recommend mollasses - give 'em loads of the stuff.... they'll thank you for it!

    4 plant indoor set up.

You might want to consider a blue spectrum 250w CFL for the vegging stage - it'll save you money in leccy and heat in your grow tent.... and I personally don't think it effects yield. When it comes to flowering you could just go with a 400w HPS, it's pretty cheap to buy and run. Obviously a...

Bagseeds can get good results!! Check my harvest....

The weed I got these seeds from was first class, grown locally by an associate of mine, so I knew they were good. I wouldn't bother wasting my time growing seeds from crappy weed or even seeds I wasn't 100% sure about..... we all put a lot of time and energy (literally) into growing plants, so...

Bagseeds can get good results!! Check my harvest....

As Jixan says, letting the water sit apparently lets some of the chlorine evaporate.... I'm not sure it works, but it's easy for me to do using a decent sized container (I only water every 2 or 3 days (when they need it)). I mix the molasses in just before watering, I don't let it sit with the...
