Two of my seedlings stems are pale yellow, same color as the cotyledons. They are 3 and a half weeks old, havent started nute feeding yet but will as soon as possible. But could this be a sign of nute def.? they were green about 10 hours ago, maybe underwatering?

OK, what about having a 160w Hps with a 400w ballast, that still bad?

I do have a 360w metal halide bulb, but only a 400 w hps ballast, would that blow up the bulb?

So I had six (two-week old) seedlings goin under a couple compact fluorescents. Unfortunately I broke one of the CFLs, and I know one won't be good enough. Until I buy new CFLs, would putting them under two 34w cool white fluorescent tubes be okay?

As long the lights at a safe distance, it should be fine. I actually used zip lock bags that all had weed in them at one point lol, bad boys sprouted within 24 hours. Cheers

The best of my seedlings has all the sudden developed two tiny red/brown spots, one on each first true leave. I don't know if it could be deficiency because she is only 13 days old. The brown/red is right at the end of the vein.

I just spotted a tiny black spec of dirt or something on one of the true leaves of a new seedling, tried removing with paper towel and failed. Is it deadly?

Yeah they are under a 40w flood light, horrible I know. Hopefully they'll make it until I get some cfls

yeah they had nice green leaves, they are under a 40w incandescent flood light until i get fluorescents as soon as possible. could this shitty source of light even cause the seedlings to die?

some of my week old seedlings were fine a couple hours ago, now some have completely fallen over and one has died with a brown stem. what is wrong?

i just checked one stem it was completely thin at the bottom and just came right off, RIP
