    400 vs 600 vs 1000 hid

Earl, that first chart of yours has some bad math in it. I am going to have to go with the people that believe you can have too much light. FYI 600w i a 2'x2' cabinet is "too much".

addbacks - nutes or plain h20

I voted nutes but i believe it is because my resevoir is undersized. If I just add ph'd water i start seeing yellowing from lack of nutes after 3 or 4 days.

help with a 600 watt hps in a 2'x2' cab

I'd love to borrow that for a few days :) I guess I'll keep posting my trials and errors so taht anyone searching for info might be able to use some of it. I have seven 2.5" holes for my passive intake that i figure gives me 34.37 sq inches of intake and the 6" duct that puts air into the...

help with a 600 watt hps in a 2'x2' cab

Thanks for the tip Mr. Holland. I want to do what you suggest by placing the probe above the light but I will have to rerun the line on the next grow attempt (I'm experiencing problems which are probably due to temp ph and nute (this has been a learning experience but marijuana should never be...

help with a 600 watt hps in a 2'x2' cab

The ambient temperature is around 70ºF when the light comes on it travels thru the mother chamber 2'x2'x4.5' and then into the Flower chamber 2'x2'x6'. The thermometer reads 88º in the flower chamber but i believe that is radiant temperature because the temperature in the utility chamber drops...

help with a 600 watt hps in a 2'x2' cab

I have a 600 watt hps in a 2x2 cabinet. My thermometer probe is taped to the side of the compartment and after the light has been on for a few hours it reads up to 90ºF. I've since learned the difference between radiant heat and air temperature but it is impossible to make shade in this tiny...

    Air intake exhaust question

Actually it is totally possible. By forcing air out of a sealed environment you create negative pressure which is really just less pressure. Since the pressure has been lowered, air rushes in to try and balance the pressure. It is always slightly behind though as more air is being forced out...

Where to place the temperature probe

The temperature/humidity guage I bought has an outdoor probe I would like to use. It is basically a 1/8" diameter metal cylinder about 1/2" long. Originally I intended to just tape it to the side of the flower chamber 18" above the medium level but after giving it a bit of thought I'm not sure...

Anyone with a proud tiny mighty grow setup?

Did you ever apologise for being a jerk? It amazes me that you can make a passive aggressive attack on a guy just posting about what we all love and then act like a victim. I can't believe my first post on this site is about drama!!!!! Anyways...I won't ever post pictures because I'm a scaredy...
