Air intake exhaust question

Ok. My boys & I were sitting in my sealed 6x8 grow room. It has a 6" 175cfm exhaust fan & a 4" flapper for intake (flapper allows air in.. But wont let air outside)

SO HERE IS THE QUESTION. Due to my room not having an intake fan... Am I removing more air than I am bringing in?

My thoughts were that is physically impossible. I may be slowing the fan down... But removing more air that I am bringing in... Thats not possible..

Actually it is totally possible. By forcing air out of a sealed environment you create negative pressure which is really just less pressure. Since the pressure has been lowered, air rushes in to try and balance the pressure. It is always slightly behind though as more air is being forced out faster than air can be replaced. The larger the intake the less the effect is noticed.

I create a negative pressure to help seal my doors and to assure that no exhaust escapes except where I want it too.
