Ok here we go Day 44! Man this CX-9 is doing great! I'm very happy with it!
"Loud" isn't the word for the smell coming out of this tent! Its on a whole new level of scent.
The plants look lighter in pics than they really are, its the light.
Busting my balls lol. Ahh you got me, no style. I just do things that ive learned over the years that work and the plants respond well rewarding me by getting all fat and wanting to fall over, so I use the trellis netting. A lot of people use nets and things to support their plants. Anything...
I used string to tie them up here but it takes a lot more time to do. These are Mob Boss plants under 600w hps in promix many grows back. I prefer Hempy buckets its much easier to avoid cal/mag issues.
Just my growing style, with any strain I get it as heavy as I possibly can. If the net wasn't up it would just fall over before I was 30 days into flower. I normally run 2 sets of net but with this new light I am getting less stretch in flower by quite a bit. If the plants are supported they...
MOB BOSS, Hindu Kush, Critical Sensi Star, Afghan Kush, Wonder Woman, Brooklyn Mango, or anything with fat dense nugs I can turn into a bush.
Wonder Woman in pic, scent is so strong from this strain it will burn your nose.
IMO The lights burning it up if the damage is directly under the light. How are the lowers on the plant? if they are healthy id say its the light. Most nute related issues start at the lower branches and creep up.
Can you unzip the bottom off that type of tent? if you can you should be able to...
Without the netting the plants would just collapse under their own weight. Ill take pictures at the end of the grow when I take off the net. here are a couple pics from a past grow.
I've seen colder temps used to bring out the purple and related smells late in flower on specific strains. That's just over a week or so late in flower or cool nights. I would like to see a "cold grow" grown from start to finish. It would be very interesting to see the results and phenos...
I lurked around in the DIY for awhile then just went with a prebuild light for the warranty. Based on the results I'm seeing with the Johnson Grow Lights CX-9 I bought, I think a CX-4 would do well in there and its in the price range you mentioned. I think there may even be a coupon code around...
Everything is going great and looking Fantastic to me! I couldn't be happier with this CX-9 from Johnson Grow Lights!
This will be my first and last run with the deathstar strain. Its just not the right strain for my growth style but as I stated in my first post this is what I had at the time...
:spew:
Please don't run your mouth in my direction unless its based on facts, reality and you actually know what your talking about. That's the kind of bad info and negativity that doesn't do anyone any good. I take growing very seriously. As you can see in the pics the statements I made are...
depends on the hood your running. If I put a 600w bulb in a blockbuster it is not centered in the hood, as a 1000w bulb is longer. so adding a socket extension can center the bulb in the hood, giving a more even spread throughout the canopy.
perlite/vermiculite mix my food safe budget nutes are listed in an earlier post. basic setup nothing special not running co2
they say, Put that dirt in the backyard where it belongs and grow like a man! lol seriously dirt works best outdoor IMO
Way up 30-32in away is what's recommended in the 4x4. I tried to run it closer but they didn't like it. This thing puts out a lot of light! I'm thinking about picking up 2 of the CX-6 and running them with my CX-9 in the 4x8 Tent. Already listed the HPS and MH setups on craigslist they were...
what hood? do you have a meter of any kind? lux maybe? What is it at now?
I always ran mine as close as I could without causing any issues with hid lighting but that's a fine line. Yes always adjust up as they grow keeping the same distance but that I cant say for sure what distance with the...
