    Stray Seeds in Bud

Yah... my buds all look excellent, taste great and do the job. They just have a few stray seeds here and there. :?::?:

    Stray Seeds in Bud

Thanks for your reply Johnnyprocrops. I am familiar with the info that you posted. The odd thing is, there was no sign of hermie or male what so ever. In fact, I flowered 3 previous crops of the same identical plants. Ie; this crop was cloned from the previous crop which was cloned from the...

    Stray Seeds in Bud

I have searched for this info but have not been able to locate it. So I apologize if this is a repeat. I have been growing the same strain from clones for about 4 flowering cycles. I clone from vegged girls just prior to moving them to the flower room. This harvest, just after drying, I have...

TGA Subcool Deep Purple or Querkle?

Okay. Buds are dry and just need to cure. First pic is a batch of Querkle that I just manicured. Much more to do. The next two pics are the same bud. Nice blend of purple, orange and green. Probably about 1/4 of the buds are this size.

    Ph study!!

Sorry to say... but there is no "set" formula to adjust your ph. I have been growing hydro for about 4 years and it took me about 3 to 5 crops to get a proper feel. Reason being is that your nutes are constantly on the move. The level of nutes changes daily... so you start with 140l and the next...

    Green Crack

About a year ago I ran across this and copied it for a friend. I can't remember who the poster was but I do remember it was someone reliable. "Green Crack was an 89 SSSC skunk#1 crossed with an unknown indica in athens ohio in about 1990. It was indeed made by cecilC. Cecil is the kind of guy...

TGA Subcool Deep Purple or Querkle?

Jilly Bean... topping depends on your grow style. However, I believe subcool suggests topping most strains to maximize your canopy, thus maximizing the use of your lumens. However, if you have tons of headroom and tons of floor space and have lumens above and to the sides (vertical hid's between...

TGA Subcool Deep Purple or Querkle?

Thanx HC... By the way... I thought I would mention that the taller Querkle phenom yields about 30% more than the shorter one.

TGA Subcool Deep Purple or Querkle?

OK... started harvesting today and got some pics for you. :D The first 2 pics are of the shorter phenotype of Querkle. The next 4 pics are of the taller phenotype of Querkle. You can't see it but the taller ones are bent over "supercropped". The last three pics are of the taller Querkle during...

TGA Subcool Deep Purple or Querkle?

The yield will depend on how you grow them. I have grown them outdoor and indoor. The yield is higher outdoor but they do not end up as dense and "ROCK" hard as the indoor. On avg, you should be able to get at least 6 to 7 oz per plant indoor but I do know guys who only get about 2 to 3 oz...

TGA Subcool Deep Purple or Querkle?

If you have the room, you might want to give both a try. Cuz, they are both awesome... and actually this go around my taller ones are looking a little bit more purple than my shorter ones. I will be harvesting next week so I will try to take pics before I chop so you can see what I mean. They...

Day 67 trichs CLOSEUP... still not ready??

Here's a tip. When checking your trichs for color, do in the dark. The HPS lights have a yellow cast to them and it filters out the amber color so when you are looking at them, you don't see the amber even it is there. Also, make sure your scope has fresh batteries so the light is nice and...

TGA Subcool Deep Purple or Querkle?

The Querkle has two pheno types... one is short and tends to have more purple. The other is tall and has less purple. The pic above is of the taller ones. I actually like em both. The dense buds are so full of trichs that my grinder doesn't want to empty out... I have to kinda scrape it out. The...

TGA Subcool Deep Purple or Querkle?

I am a true believer in Subcools strains. Here are pics of Querkle and JillyBean at "Day 48" of flower. I also included pics of Subcool's Agent Orange nice and cured. Enjoy.... Tip... don't drewl on your keyboard. BTW... these nugs are rock hard and could break windows! Forgot to...

TGA Subcool Deep Purple or Querkle?

I have not grown Deep Purple but have gone thru 3 crops of Querkle and love the stuff. Yield is very good and the high is very mellow and uplifting. Very smooth to smoke. I have grown Agent Orange as well... and still prefer Q. Although I really like the flower room smell of AO... smells like...

    General Organics Talk

Typically, you are suppose to mix the nutes first then adjust the ph. Most nutes will buffer to some sort of level by itself... so if you adjust the ph first...the nutes will most likely change it and you will need to adjust it again.

    Max Yield Equation

I will 100% back you on this statement. 1lb per 600 watt is very realistic, just as is 1-1/2 lbs per 4'x6' area (1000 watts) is real too and sometimes a little bit more. And I am talking with limited plants... not SOG. This, however, is unrealistic. I have never seen, done or verified anyone...

    Max Yield Equation

I basically use braided masonry string. (braided so it doesn't fray) Twisted string will work too. I create a big square rack out of metal conduit then tie the string and weave the string. This way you can still move the string around as needed to help in training and/or supporting key...
