take a look getting some yellowing

Oh Yeah. And you have your lights (1k watts) too close. 1kwatt hps need to be about 20 to 30 inches away from the canopy. 16" is way to close. Heres a chart for comparison to the natural lighting (the sun).

take a look getting some yellowing

Actually, if you are using GH nutes ("im useing general nutes") and you are in the middle of flowering, I think you are starving them. I believe you need to increase your ppm's. Make sure you are using the micro & bloom and not the grow. The micro will provide a good amont of nitrogen. About...

    Stray Seeds in Bud

I have been thinking and discussing this with a couple of colleagues and have come up with a theory. I am curious what others may think. Theory is this: My method of growing involves what I call "Larfing". Larfing is removing all the lower budsites and leaves below the canopy...

    Stray Seeds in Bud

Nah... I grow subcool's TGA strains, Agent Orange, Querkle, JillyBean. This particular crop is Agent Orange.

    Stray Seeds in Bud

This is really wierd! We just started harvesting my other crop (completely dif strain) from a totally different room. Again, this is a crop that is from clones from the same mother that I have grown in this same room over 5 or 6 times with no issues. Anyway, I am seeing signs of stray...

    I'm with you Stonercool! :)

Just bought "BUD CANDY" made by advanced nutrients, anyone try it?

NOT! I have tried molasses back when when I was a rookie. BC works way way better. This stuff does something to help unlock the plants ability to absorb nutes. Seriously... I was totally suprised by the results. Although, I will bet that one persons results will differ from another. My nute...

Water PPM and adjusting nutrient solution

Dude... 100ppm is nothing... Don't worry bout using RO. It's all about what's in your water. As an example... my water is 1000 feet deep well water. It runs about 260ppm, but whats in the water is ok for my plants. My plants do amazingly well with my on mix of 4 different brand of nutes. Been...

    Anyone use "Bud Candy"

Actually, the main objective of Bud Candy is Flavor, Aroma AND Yield Enhancer. And as far as whether its good nor not. ........ It is very very good IMHO. I mentioned this in another post: " I have never been an AN fan. It's way to expensive. Fact is, I don't use any of their stuff...

Yo Fatman... I think you been smokin way to much... You obviously haven't tried this stuff. I have never been an AN fan. It's way to expensive. Fact is, I don't use any of their stuff... EXCEPT Bud Candy. I have been growing the same strains (3 strains) for the last couple years now. I keep...

Optimal setup of light per s/f....

I believe the chart addresses what is important... the ideal distance of the light to the canopy (not the ground)... not necessarilly the sq ft of coverage of a given wattage lamp. There are other charts addressing this and I believe Subcool has a good rule of thumb in one his posts. I run a...

    Looking for a PH meter

That depends on how much yield you want and what quality you want. I found that documenting my many grows with a journal showing ppm's and ph, I have been able to double my yields and produce totally topshelf, "high demand" quality bud. If you want to continue to improve your growing skill...

a question about my Lumateck Digital balassts

Yah.. if anything, you want the temps to start going down toward the end of flower... just like nature. In the fall the temps get colder and the humidity gets lower. The lower the humidity the more that the flowers try to protect themselves and produce more resin... the good stuff. Cheers

a question about my Lumateck Digital balassts

Supercropping is basically pinching and bending the branches to make it's canopy spread out. This makes better use of the lumens per square foot (or inch). It is similar to LST Low Stress Training but is more agressive. It takes a little practice so you don't break the branches completely off...

a question about my Lumateck Digital balassts

Hmm... that might be a little close for 1000's at 100%. But for the last two weeks, it may not matter. Keep an eye on the closer buds, cuz they can get burnt and crispy... basically becoming unusable. I have burned a few in my day with them being too close. Now I supercrop, which helps keep the...

a question about my Lumateck Digital balassts

It really depends on a couple of things. 1) How far away are your plants (buds) from the light and 2) How are your plants looking. You got any pics? I run the same ballasts. I have 2 rows of 3 ... 6 total. My canopy is approx 11' x 12'. I run the four outside ones at full 100% and then I run...

    Stray Seeds in Bud

Yah... was thinking of that... Querky Jill ! Just gotta figure out if it was JillyBean that was the culprit (hermie).

    Stray Seeds in Bud

Actually, I just remembered something. How could I forget... :???: I had a couple of JillyBean (from seed) flowering in the same room as the Querkle. The Querkle is the ones that were clones from clones from clones, etc. I bet one of the JB had a hermie tendancy and I just couldn't or didn't...
