The reflector seems to be a fair amount to big.. Maybe 2.5ft when I put it together. Should i just take off a couple of the side pieces to make it smaller?

Any others? I'm just thinking of how long the room is... It's probably more like 8-9ft long... If I bare bulb it, I can move the light up and down the room to get more equal penetration.
