Hopefully it's just a bit of nutrient burn from going into soil that's too hot. Just don't feed the plant for a couple weeks and it should be fine

I wouldn't say there was anything 'wrong' with it. This is just how this plant wants to grow. Topping or super cropping will aid the side branches. Also training her laterally would get those branches to stretch. The plant looks very landrace-esque which is cool. Is it getting plenty of sun?
