Odd looking plant - need your help

Hi Guys,
Bit of a newbie here. I was given this bag seed off my friend and told it was hindu kush, it germinated fine but as a seedling always looked sorta weird but I just thought I would wait and see what happens.

At this point I'm not expecting a yield from it but I am kind of curious wtf is up with it?
It's only recently started to grow out laterally but up until then was tall and very thin with short branches.
Apologies in advance if this is a dumb question..

I wouldn't say there was anything 'wrong' with it. This is just how this plant wants to grow. Topping or super cropping will aid the side branches. Also training her laterally would get those branches to stretch.

The plant looks very landrace-esque which is cool. Is it getting plenty of sun?

Interesting. It gets plenty of sun as it's just reaching the end of summer here so the days are long and it sits in direct sunlight for the majority of it.
