Don't put it on. Think its that simple. If you have concerns about exchanging air, then just have it come on at a set temp for a few minutes or on a timer.

This would be my concern with the silica. I don't use it. I've had seeds in the fridge for 15+ yrs. Myself and others plant them often. 99% germ rates from everything that comes out of there. Baggies, vials, original packaging. It's all in there.

So, it's gotta be genetics. But maybe ur doing something wrong. Whats ur set up like? What kinda nutes? Temps could play a role. And what are u growing? Not curing could be part of it. Especially if u are comparing yours to cured bud.

Temps and humidity? These can really matter when it comes to led. Its usable/reasonable light, but something about the intensity. Temps and rh are too low and not enough transpiration. Can't keep up with water and nute demands.
