I have a 2 X 2.5 X 7 tent. Air comes in via a mesh intake at the tent's bottom, and is exhausted via 4" carbon fan at the top. My two issues are.... One, the mesh intake has allot of light flooding out at night when it's dark. Also that same intake is just mesh, so I wonder if smell will leak...

Buy a 4" carbon filter fan combo at htg garden supply for $120. If you want it quiet opt for the $20 fan speed controller to slow it down. If you want it even more quiet they sell a 4" muffler too.
