Small and quiet fan and filter combo

hey guys
I've got some sweet tooth vegging in my veg closet. Up until now I've gotten away with just an intake fan to ventilate the space as there has never been any real smell. However I've now found that as the girls have shown pre flowers they're kicking up quite a stink. I need a small fan and filter combo but it must be as quiet as possible due to the location of the closet. The room is 16 cubic feet and temperatures are no cause for concern my main goal is just to quell the stench.

Thanks guys I look forward to hearing ur ideas

try masking the smell with candles or air fresheners otherwise a 4" fan is pretty quiet and can come with a carbon filter for around 100 or so on ebay.

Buy a 4" carbon filter fan combo at htg garden supply for $120. If you want it quiet opt for the $20 fan speed controller to slow it down. If you want it even more quiet they sell a 4" muffler too.

I don't think a normal centrifugal fan is gonna cut it noise wise. I usually box them up and fill with mineral wool and then hang from bungee cord but don't have the space to so that in here. It's gonna need to be as close to silent as physically possible. Thanks for ur suggestions though guys.

There is nothing more quiet than a 4" inline fan with filter combo I just purchase the fan/filter/speed controller for $120 on amazon and I expected it to be really loud but when hooked up with my DIY muffler it is no louder than a regular oscillating fan. I put it this way my box fan is just as loud so all you need to do is get the 4" inline fan and get a box fan, keep the box fan near you grow room/tent/box whatever and keep it on all the time to distract from the sound of the inline fan.
Trust me they are not as loud as you think.

EDIT: Btw my fan is at full speed I thought I would need a speed controller and that is why I purchased it but I don't even use it. The brand is Ventech and so far I think these are pretty good fans, the only noise coming from them is the air itself.

If you have the money to blow just get a whisperline fan there is nothing more quiet than those that I know of.

Soler and palau td silent range have a 4" mixed flow that runs at 27db at a range of 3m. I think this is gonna get my money, http://www.solerandpalau.co.uk/product.jsp?PRODUCTID=564&CATEGORYID=56 . That's the link , think I'm gonna pair it with an ozone genny to keep it closer to that 27 db mark. Anyone know if an ozone genny is acctually quieter than a carbon scrubber?

Be careful with those Ozone Generators they are very bad for your health especially over extended periods of time, I'm sure you know this already just trying to look out for you.

Yeah bro I know, but thanks for that. It will be constantly exhausted and the closet kept at negative pressure.

Gonna check out the whisper line fans now bro cheers

Ok guys so I went rogue and bought a plug in ozone gen air purifier dealy. Just got it plugged in there. For £53 I shan't complain. This is the type designed for killing bad odours in the home (pets/smoke etc). Like I had said he veg closet is tiny so I don't think this will have much trouble coping with a bit sweetness.

And here's the culprits, recovering from more than a little bit of drought.... Oops
