Hmm, thats a good idea fddk, but why wait until they are in flowering? I thought they take longer to root when they are in flowering? And you can do that way of cloning forever with no effect on anything?

Im looking for a more homemade one. Is soil or hydro better typically?

The meter, the one I posted up on ebay was the exact one I got. As for chems from the pots, they are all plastic pots from HD, im sure tons of people have gotten pots from there before. As for the soil theory, Maybe.. but there are some pots were its only one type of soil. gardeners gold

Well, I dunno if I didnt make it clear, but Im not using the RO water. It just looks to be a 2 stage carbon filter. I did buy the RO water, but it didnt work with my sink

I just checked the PH on two of my plants, the Mango and the g13 buddha, the first is 4.5ph, and the second was 4.7. Still crazy low... Anything I can do to correct this?

The water coming from the new filter is not 7.5 ph, maybe it drops the longer its installed...

Well, I thought that the optimum PH for the water that your feeding your plants should be 6.5-7. Im just curious WHY filtered water is higher than neutral?

I just got a GE Smartwater 2 stage filter from home depot. THe PH water coming out of my sink is 7, but out of the filter is 8. Anyone know whats going on? Ive let the water run for about 10 min now, it only droped from 8.3 to 8
