Alright, tell me how my 2 week old plant thats never been given any nutes at all has a run off of 4.5 PH water. The PH of the water going in is 6.5-7. I use gardeners gold and promix. I PHed the run off of the soil by itself in a separate potted plant, and it came to 6.5, so not any different...

hmm, i thought the vortex was one of the fans with no hum? I have read in the S&P fan thread that a speedster creates the humming there also. Is there a way to know if this fan will have a hum before i purchase the speedster?

well, i own the condo. but the only thing is, i cant have the tent just sitting out in the room. I alrady have a designated spot, whcih is in the closet near the liviing room. So either way, i will have to create a exhaust and intake anyways

Nice response, real informative. i guess ill give the speedster a try, but kinda sucks I have to spend another $30 for it, when its already a $140 fan. I think the vortex is similar to the hydrofarm one, so hopefully it doesnt become louder with it attached. Is your speed controlled vortex...

I just got a 6' inline fan thats incredibly loud for the room that I want to put it in. Its not vibration noise, just the sound of it of the motor. Its a hydrofarm fan. Anything I can do to quiet it down?

Is it better to rig a closet up and cut holes into the wall, or is it better to just order a tent and put it inside the closet?
