Any opinion on this new Cirrus 10 COB light - 1000 watt?

I think you should go with a Cob build tbh. DIY and you will save alot... 650W-800W of 1212's or vero 29 SE will be better than that fixture at 1000W...

Soil Mix - If my PH is 6, should I still add Oyster Shell grounds?

My current organic only mix is 30/30/30 EWC, Perlite, Peat. Bonemeal Seaweed granules Alfalfa Pellets Rock Dust I guess I will gain some Calcium from the Oyster Shells, but as I believe they are mostly used for PH issues, is there any need to add it? Originally was going to add 1 cup Oyster...

    Oregon Lemons Grow

@BMWEATER Have you grown any other citrus smelling strains? If so, how are you rating the smell currently? Is it the strongest lemon smell youve smelt? Regarding cola size, next time you can try to mainline, I believe you will get fatter colas for sure...

Solution to make water be absorbed into to top of soil when watering dry top-surface?

@Cletus clem if that is the dilution ratios, then that makes you right, I do recall seeing NPK ratio of 1/16th of a ts and assumed PM version would be somewhat similar, guess not. I will get the 2oz NPK Yucca and give it a shot. Thanks!

Solution to make water be absorbed into to top of soil when watering dry top-surface?

@Roggers No, I dont use that clay, also I doubt it will be as effective as a wetting agent or dripper - I guess the water will pass the clay, but how will it soak below just because the clay is on top? @Cletus clem Are you in the states? If so the prices are reasonable there so its...

Solution to make water be absorbed into to top of soil when watering dry top-surface?

Found a seller, prices 8oz pouch NPK Yucca = £48 ($62) 2oz pouch NPK Yucca = £19 ($25) Rip off britain! I am going to try the Plant Magic Bio Wetter for £9, I would much rather give my money to a company trying to make cheaper alternatives available than to these overpriced con merchants. I...

Solution to make water be absorbed into to top of soil when watering dry top-surface?

@Cletus clem Hey, Im growing fully organic, I do want to use the Yukka every1 said, but in the UK its not as easy to get all these organic ammendments. I have managed to find some Yukka liquid wetter(rather than the powder) - http://www.plant-magic.co.uk/products/bio-wetter/23/ Around £9 for...

Solution to make water be absorbed into to top of soil when watering dry top-surface?

Guys, would adding more perlite to the mix help the water to evenly soak downwards towards the bottom of the soil?

Solution to make water be absorbed into to top of soil when watering dry top-surface?

@PSUAGRO. Yea, perhaps I shoulda mentioned airpots earlier on. I think realistically the drip system gona be the way. @1000ppm Yucca? is this another wetting agent to be mixed with the water?

Solution to make water be absorbed into to top of soil when watering dry top-surface?

I think a drip system is going to be best. I tried today watering whilst being very patient, the main problem I am having is the water is coming out the sides of the pots (air pots), and not being delivered into the bottom part of the soil. I also tried wat @Richard Drysift said, water a bit...

Pre-mixing epsom salts a good idea?

If I had say 250L of soil, can I premix it with epsom salts? In my seedlings I can see that they have mag deficiency, so before I pot them to the bigger pots with the new soil batch, id rather adjust the new soil batch. If premixing is the way ,roughly how much epsom salts should I add to 250L?

Solution to make water be absorbed into to top of soil when watering dry top-surface?

Its ok saying slower water for 1-5 plants, but when you got alot more its an issue. I think the wetting agent will work.

Solution to make water be absorbed into to top of soil when watering dry top-surface?

I am wondering if anybody knows a good work around for this? Its an annoying problem, when you water a dry surface the water just rolls into a ball and is not absorbed into the soil. After maybe 20 seconds or so the soil finally accepts it, but sometimes it can overflow if you do not wait for...
