    6strains 10 plants 2 pound yield

You were offered constructive criticism and you made it personal. My first reaction to your post was - 1. Where's the 10 pounds he's claiming, 2. Why are the buds small and squished, and 3. Why didn't he trim the buds? If you're proud of it and you're 'buyer' doesn't care, then why are you here...

I'm betting there will be zero shortage of quality bud in California, based on the quantity that's been harvested this season. Don't underestimate the sheer volume of quality bud being grown throughout California, or the ingenuity of our growers to protect their crops and turn out some of the...

Just chopped some top bud off

The long white hairs visible in the second pic would indicate you could have waited another week or two, and it probably would have helped with bud density and maximizing the smell and taste. The bottom line is that if this is your first harvest, you did fine and you're probably enjoying some...

    Humidity last day before harvest?

I've done that when needed, some plants and growing environments are going to make it harder for the lower branches to get enough light. Usually the whole plant matures at about the same time, in my experience and with the varieties I've grown, with just a few small lower branches with immature...

    Harvest Moon Oct. 5th 2017

No need to over do the water, just water like normal without nutes. If you're fighting a worsening bud rot problem on a particular plant, harvest now, remove the rot before you leave town, and hang to dry. If you want, keep the healthiest plant dry while you're gone and put it out for two more...

    How close

A couple more pics of the buds and one of the whole plant will help. I personally don't check trichomes until the white hairs recede and you appear to be a ways from that at this point.

    What do you think

A lot of white hairs still with small buds and a light dusting of goodness, i'd say at last 3 - 4 weeks still. How about 1 more pic of the whole plant including what size pots you're using?

    Harvest Moon Oct. 5th 2017

I really noticed the white hairs in the 3rd pic more so than the other 2 pics. Is that a different plant? If you want to experiment AND reduce your risk, harvest the mature buds or plants and leave the less mature (in the garage while you're gone) to mature longer. If you want to maximize...

    Humidity last day before harvest?

I've always heard that, if anything, low humidity increases resin production as the plant tries to protect the leaves with additional oil secretions. Ultimately, the most important factor is not humidity (except for what churchhaze mentioned about mold), it's harvesting when the plant is fully...

    Harvest Moon Oct. 5th 2017

It's ultimately your call. The plants would benefit from 2 more weeks of growth but you need to shelter them from the rain. Putting a clear tarp over them and staking the tarp to keep it off the plants should protect them from a light rain, but wind and heavy rain may be hard for you to protect...

    Ready to harvest

Yep, what he said ↑↑↑ If you're anxious or low on smoke, cut a few buds and experiment with your dry and cure. I've been known to harvest one small plant or several buds 2 week early to see how much the taste and buzz vary from fully mature. In my experience, it has less smell and flavor and...

    Advice on where I'm at?

Dexxxy - looks like you figured out that nanners are male flowers that sometimes grow on female plants and can result in pollination and seeds. Nanners is slang for bananas because of how they look before they open up and release their pollen. I'm just adding this in case others are reading...

    Harvest Moon Oct. 5th 2017

I wouldn't offer you an opinion on whether you should harvest or not without seeing pictures of the plant and the buds. If you still have white hairs, you're not ready yet. If you can shelter the plants from the rain, your best bet is letting the plants fully mature. The main reason for...

Just finished week 6 and majority hair is already orange

Excellent job, the plant looked ready to harvest with plenty of snow on the buds. A little word of advice for future harvests - you may want to trim a few more of the bud leaves to give you a smoother smoke, but overall, very impressive.:clap:bongsmilie:bigjoint:

    Earliest outdoor harvest

You still have at least 4 weeks to go, no need to check the color of your trichomes until the white pistils recede. Try to avoid what almost every first timer does by harvesting too early. Keep an eye out for worms and bud rot, and keep doing what you're doing. They look good.

    Seedling outdoors?

Either you're 7.5 feet tall or your including the the height of your dirt in the pot. Technically that would be about a 6.5 foot plant and 1 foot of dirt, but either way, your plants are looking good. You might want to boost your nitrogen, some of your leaves are looking a touch pale.

    How many gallons of nutrient?

Remember that if you're premixing your nutes in a large container or drum to not mix more than you'll use in a week or so. Nutes can separate from the water and sink to the bottom and will even degrade in heat and sunlight. I always mix only what I need each day and water everything until the...

    first outdoor grow flowering

Looks like you're starting to flower, you may want to use both bloom and grow nutes for another week or two. Also, I tend to feed with every watering and the nutes you're using should be fine to use daily with each watering. Keep an eye out for pests, especially worms which will start to show up...
