Next round Stateline 4, day 37. Got a couple more lights to fill things in, but it was too much and they burned a bit. They also stretched a lot more, over 4 feet now. This one is still looking good... developing cola measures 10.5" top to bottom, and if it's like last time she's gonna fill in...

Tray 5 day 37 Here is what too much light can do to you. I have turned them down just a tad, and the buds aren't really damaged... but damn... was looking very nice, and I fuck it up yet again. I believe it's light damage because it's concentrated on the area there was overlap, and the outside...

Tray 5 day 28 Like I said, I got the 2 new DS XML 150s from AdvancedLEDLights (smaller model of my other lights) up. I think I had the lights a bit low and close together, you can see some burn developing in these. It is a bit worse now, but under control, after raising and further separating...

This is now my 5th run, just got started late last year, never bothered with HID. Yep, rotating 2x2 flood trays through, currently just have the one but as it gets nearing the end I'll throw another in with it for a few weeks of overlap. I put the 150s up yesterday, it is really filling out...

Sounds good, just be careful if you are following what's on labels. A lot of the time what they list there is really high. I strongly recommend investing in an EC meter so you know exactly what you are putting in.

The yellowing is pretty bad... something looks out of whack. Double check your ph (~5.6 for veg) and ec (~0.7-1.1 depending on method), and that your light isn't too close.

Curious about your comment here... what height are you running them at? I try to keep mine around 18", and have trouble covering my 5x5 with two DS XML 350s. In fact, I just picked up two 150s to help fill in areas that weren't getting enough light.

I have been boiling but will definitely try just rinsing next time. I didn't think it was that much of a pain in the ass.... aren't you going to at least rinse off any reusable medium?

Hmmm didn't realize so many people did this maybe I will start experimenting
