I find dirt much easier to be honest. I have also had success with hempys which I find easier than dirt in a number of ways. Sure you can use the nuits you have in dirt. Mg might be pre loaded with nutrients so be careful

I thought I read somewhere is your thread you had 330 sqf to play with? If it was me, I would put the veg tent upstairs and flower downstairs, but in all honesty I would try and avoid using upstairs. Do you have any target yields in mind? It will pay in the long run to try and keep it simple...

does anyone know where to buy uncut lengths of extruded aluminum in EU? From memory back when I was in au land it was much cheaper to buy uncut extruded from a wholesaler than buying cut lengths in retail. I think it was 2m standard length.

personally I would just add a 315cmh bulb to the 600. cheaper than those eyehortilux dual bulbs by far.

Some bulbs can break down with certain electronic ballasts due to the frequency they run the ballast at, basically causing metal fatigue. You wont get the problem with a good old reliable mag ballast. save your pennies and stay away from the electronic ones as my experience is 2 broken...

why not put both tents in 1 room, it would simplfy things I think. I don't really understand your question, thats true! In any event you would want a bigger exhaust than intake.

I really don't know what you did but my guess is you overfed them at first and caused the leaves to burn and now your starving them. I guess by now they are dead anyway as your not been back for a couple of days

exhaust should be bigger than intake. Ypou want a slight negative pressure inside the tent to keep the smell under control otherwise air will leak somewhere and you will blame the carbon filter for the smell ;)

I believe you can solder copper to aluminum, the hard part is getting rid of the aluminum oxide with a suitable flux.

Yes it would work. You would need approx 1,6amps for 8 fans. An old computer psu would be able to do that but not the greatest for efficiency.
