final image of the grow, i highly recommend growing micro dwarfs as they're real easy to manage and with the proper nutrients and light they just explode.

Hey lads, heres a grow i started in late december and finished a few months ago, some micro dwarf tiny tim tomato plants under 2 luminus cxm22 3500k 90CRI in 50/50 coco/perlite mix growing in a 2x2 tent, also bush cucumbers that had to be moved out due to size constraints. This is where i...

heh ever since i posted that i've been non stop researching to find more info about this, apparently Andrew Parker the inventor of the membrane meniscus system had a website entirely dedicated to the system called http://www.membranemeniscusmethod.com, this site has unfortunately shut down in...

Only thing i've found regarding this system: http://hydroponicsociety.org/massive-tomato-yield/ looks promising as i was expecting the usual lettuce grow but nope, this guy grew heirloom tomatoes.. and quite a lot of them too... as a rule of thumb if you can grow full size tomatoes you can grow...

what kind of batting do you plan on using for the membrane? cotton? i imagine it'd be better to use something inorganic to prevent rotting..

Nice thread, wish i found it a few months back as i've been growing with Masterblend 4-18-38 + calcium nitrate + epsom salt combo for years now in a drain to waste system with a big tank so it can be left alone, i see no ph swings in the tank even after 30 days, i do have a tiny pump in the tank...

Looks like Luminus CXM-22-3500k-90CRI cobs do a fine job of growing beefsteak tomatoes.

humm seems pretty consistent with what i'm getting, wonder why bigsmo rates these as 55w each? and yeah these are probably my end game, they're just so modular.. and if a new cob hits the market with considerably better efficiency it would literally take 5 minutes to switch out the cobs..

i'm sure it has some effect but i cant imagine it being that big, i think you're forgetting that most tents have good air movement and the examples you show are for true passive cooling, plus the HGB-60 is actually a little smaller then the ModuLED, it doesn't restricts airflow on the outer fins...

Funny how i've been planning this build for weeks and only now noticed this thread.. anyways just finished building 10 autocobs, parts ordered from cobkits and CDI, it was pretty fun, but i gotta mention that if your gonna build your own be aware that the BJB mounting holes dont actually line up...
