Thanks, but the question is how much more..? will it operate at 370w? because HLG got third party ppfd measurements for the the qb96 370w light and i'd like to hit those numbers.

Hey guys, im about to order a pair of qb96 engines, i was wondering about how to drive them, ideally i'd like to set them up the same way HLG does with one of these as i'd like to hit that 360W-370W range that HLG's prebuilt does: Im just wondering if theres more involved then simply hooking...

Boy am i late with this update, the grow ended a while ago i just couldnt find the time to write this up, anyways my fabric selection ended up failing me again, which is why i started seeing ph/ec shifts some time after changing out the previous fabric, looks like in the future ripstop nylon...

Still chugging along, seeing some color pop up.

Agreed, next system i plan on ordering proper ripstop fabric at the tightest weave possible, and also doing away with the plastic sub layer as Andrew implies that its unnecessary, and when i think about it, if i dont include a sub layer and just place the fabric directly on top of the felt...

Right, well overdue for an update, so, sprayed the plants with wettable sulfur, it seems to be keeping the mites in check as i dont see any progression, the plants are chugging along, tomatoes are getting bigger then i'd expect from a micro dawrf, usually the cherries are smaller then regular...

Thanks man, even if the fabric holds i dont have anything to link to as i basically went down to a hole in the wall fabric store and just bought something synthetic that looked right for the job, dont even know its name..i plan on building a bigger system soon and ordering proper ripstop this...

pulling up a chair, built something very similar to your flowering light when i first started..heck maybe i got a pic, ohh found one :cool:: 11 14.5w bulbs, 160w from the wall on full blast, 9 - 2700k, 2 - 5000k :-D

This is the best advice, its cheap and it works, i grew a some great stuff under nothing but store 15w 2700k LED blubs. pro tip: pop off the white plastic dome from the LED bulb and you instantly get a much more directional light, the diffuser dome is unnecessary.
