Explain The Dawg's grow then, the 90 CRI has slightly less PAR, he shows the measurements on page one, and yet the 90 CRI plants are much bigger and further into flowering then the 80 CRI ones, same nutes, same clones, just different CRI.
CRI is a measurement of how accurately a light source illuminates an object's true colors, the difference between 80 CRI & 90 CRI is basically how "wide" the spectrum is, how much of the visible light spectrum that the LED produces covers, usually the higher the CRI the more Red light is...
If anyone's interested i called up the lovely people at Luminus and asked if they could provide me with the CXM-22 3500K 90 CRI spectrum, they were happy to help and provided me with an SPD file that i converted into a spectrum graph in excel.
I've studied this spectrum in comparison to the...
i'm actually more interested in the 90CRI 3500k if possible..
btw do you happen to have a ModuLED Mega 13450-HBG with the connector set for sale maybe not on the site?
The more i read about Luminus the better the chip seems, i'm just pissed they dont provide a spectral graph for 3500k 90cri, or 80cri for that matter..
Very interesting, this chart is for 80 CRI i'm assuming, does the placings change with 90CRI? more specifically how is a CXM-22 90CRI compared to a CLU048-1818 90CRI? and how does a CXM-22 stack up against a gen 6 1818?
i'm aware of digikey, but $40 per cob is a bit on the high side, i'm on a budget and they're literally the most expensive place to buy from.. thanks for the help though!
oh my, thats quite the difference, cant really tell from the pictures besides the height of the plants.. i thought both spaces were smaller then that! cant wait for the finale...
i'm trying my hardest to source 1812's but i'm coming up short.... i wish citizens were easier to find..
Dont have any QB's myself (yet) but from what i've read you'll probably be good with 4 boards running about 100w each (might be overkill, not sure), you can either get the boards and two HLG240H driver each to power two boards, or you could always just buy two 260w kits for a quick setup..
