    i've also burried my plant in a big pile of fresh leaf compost to protect the roots overnight. that should keep things warmer and more stable for the next week or so. I'm about no more than 2 weeks away from harvest.

    if it is truely rootbound, then you have a hungry, massive, efficient root system, which could be craving for more nitrogen. hard to tell.
