Fox farms soil have microbial properties in it ???

Promix Herb & Vegetable has mycorrhizal spores (beneficial fungi that colonize plant roots) added to it, and it has a lower level of nutrients than some other soils (I've heard the FF soils can be a little hot). I still get 4 to 6 weeks of veg growth without the need for added nutes, and if I...

Black Market growers are getting a bad rap because of losers that use pesticides

Vitamin E is a preservative used in food, you can see it listed in the ingredients as tocopherol. They probably added it to the carts for that purpose thinking that if it's safe as food it'll be safe in their product. Just because something is food grade doesn't mean it can't harm you...

    So apparently....

I heard Quebec's ban on home growing got struck down by the courts. They're appealing of course, but if the laws are similar enough maybe Manitoba's will be as well.

    So apparently....

There are hemp farms popping up now that Canada has separated hemp and weed. Hemp is now under Ag Canada, while weed is under Health Canada. The highest concentration of industrial hemp operations are in Saskatchewan and Alberta, but they're spreading everywhere. I wish there was a map showing...

HELP!! Might have to cut early because of frost. What are your thoughts and suggestions? PICS

Check out the frost thread. Hard frosts will kill it, but as long as your day temps are good, they can take a frost or two. edit: second what @Joedank suggests

    Unknown strain

As long as the daytime temps are okay they can take a frost or two. You should check the frost thread, see how long you can push it.

Powdery Mildew - Can I use two different fungicides?

H2O2 (hydrogen peroxide) will kill pretty much any mold, but as it breaks down into water it'll end up soaking your buds again. If you do it in the morning maybe the sun will dry them off, and if you're getting soaked with dew anyway I would say it's worth a shot. I also don't know if it damages...

From what coco growers have said the plants will need more calmag, and watering methods are different from soil. @xtsho can give you more detailed/better info.

    Southern Ontario Growers

I'm lucky, never needed to feed her. First outdoor grow, putting up cameras for next year.

    The odd seed

Depends on how far away it is. I had more seeds from my neighbour's male than the neighbour on the other side, and the guy just past him has even less. They're lucky the wind around here usually comes from the west.

    Southern Ontario Growers

I was, wish I had cut her a few days ago. Ripper took her. Got all of it except a couple of wind damaged branches I took off. She needed a week or two longer. Pretty sure it was my neighbour's shit licking son. He doesn't live there anymore, and I have no way to find him, but I know he visited...

Is my light too close to my plant ?

I've had a couple of stretched seedlings where I had to bury part of the stem, no problems. When I chopped I checked the first one and it had grown roots, converting that part of the stem into the top part of the taproot.

Is my light too close to my plant ?

I used a soil like that on one grow. Same ingredient list as that anyway. I had a massive Phosphorous deficiency in flower, and the scent of the plant disappeared after week 6ish. You shouldn't need to feed it until about 4 weeks of veg, but with a soil like that you need to keep an eye out for...

    Bud rot or burn?

A healthy plant will fight off infection from most of the spores that land on it. All it takes is a weak spot for that bud to be toast. Or budworms. You're lucky it's not affecting the whole plant. You're going to have to keep an eye on the rest of your crop.

    Seed size = plant size?

Yeah. Did that, every time since my third grow when I first heard of it.

    Seed size = plant size?

I had a huge seed, nearly twice the size of the others. Never popped. I waited a week after the others had all popped and were growing well, dug it up and cracked it open. The insides were mush, and the shell was really thick. It never had a chance.

Tell me anything but burn and start over

Just to clarify, the mold is on leaves that fell off, but not on the plant itself? They're exposed to mold spores all the time, mostly they fight it off. Unless it shows up on the plants I would just keep going.
