    Variegation in plant leaves

@spliffendz I doubt the male trap door spider living in the corner would tolerate their presence. However, I did go have a look and am not seeing anything thripy goin on. Thanks for the suggestion though. I will be watching this plant, as I have read another thread on IC that someone had...

    Variegation in plant leaves

Well a plant of mine has some abnormal coloring that I would describe as Variegation. After some research, there is some thoughts that the Cannabis plant can suffer from Tobacco Mosaic Virus. No other plants in my vege area display any abnormal growth amongst a variety of strains. Somewhat...

    best super skunk/skunk#1/cheese

Sensi seeds likely has the closest thing to original Super Skunk and #1. You should bear in mind that those seeds are heirloom now compared to what is readily available. Some old Cali Skunks are reasonably available as well that are very good hybrids of land race. Dinafem has a nice Cheese I...

Need Help in using Glacier Rock Dust first time organics

I use Gaia green exclusively and also top dress with glacial rock dust, azomite and crushed oyster shell flour in bloom. Some strains are insane with Cal and need it. The way I use it is 1 TBSP of Azomite, 1 TBSP of Glacial rockdust and 5 TBSP crushed oyster shell flour, 1 cup earth worm...

    Breeding question

By hemp I assume CBD? you are going to really want to find a lab to do a chromatography mass spectrometer analysis to ensure you are breeding true to your plan. Crosses like a F1 (Kush x Hemp) are going to yield a very diverse group of progeny. I myself am in the midst of stabilizing 3 x...

    Landrace Sativa

Mid week 11 Plant is ready. It has transitioned to the harvest/drying tent for 24hrs darkness and harvest Some close ups of the plant. She stopped eating a few weeks ago. I decided to pull the plant as the amber trichchomes were starting to accelerate and bud swelling was diminishing. I will...

Does this look ready to harvest?

The buds look like they are starting to swell in some parts. I see a few receded pistils so we know shes getting there. I couldn't make out the trichomes but they appear cloudy. I'd say 7-10 days more

Leaves dying and curling, should I chop?

those calyxes don't look crazy swole, and the pistils are still receding. Trichomes don't appear in the zone. my .02

    Over fertilized or underfed?

Lol, stick to your T5 grows and delusions about being a scientist there @Tetrahedral. Idiots on Cannabis site? Lot's of super awesome growers on here. Final.

    New strain creation

what you propose is a waste of time. Get regular seeds and skip the colloidal silver. Breeders use this to preserve exclusive genetics and unique phenotype genetics. Also if your a novice, keep it simple. Get regular seeds, pollenate a female and see if you can get viable seeds.

    Over fertilized or underfed?

@Tetrahedral you say it is not required and is a "false belief". Yet, you have said nothing to support your statement. Yes, soil pH is buffering and alkalinity is modulated by cohesive forces. However, to say that using buffered water is not required is non-sense. Many a good soil grows have...

    seedlings with wrinkled leafs (photo)

Those pointed tips definitely indicate N toxicity as I suspected. I suggest once the soil has dried and the pots feel light to water with just plain Ph 6.5 water until you get significant runoff. Bear in mind, a little issue like this doesn't mean your going to loose the plant. So keep...

    Should I harvest?

I challenge this idea. What is this other part you speak of?

    Should I harvest?

ROFL...those 2 bottom ones are actual calyxes from the top cola and middle buds. Nothing is more definitive. I always take a small sugar leaf as reference to compare trichome development to the calyxes. Gives me a sense of overall ripeness. You make a good point...beginners who read this don't...

    Should I harvest?

I thought I would post some trichome photos and see what everyone's opinion is. I prefer cloudy with say 10-15% amber. My opinion is wait another week and chop at 10.
