You are in Gardening Zone 6A, so bring them out no earlier than May 5th. Definitely start vegging them for 2 months indoors if you want 12 footers.

If you have a dog, get a brush and start brushing the dog and gather up the loose strands. Sprinkle them around your plants area. It's a good repellent for deer and rabbits. I had a nice 4 footer about decade ago and it was destroyed by wild animals.

For reflective material you can use "emergency Mylar blankets" found in the camping/sporting goods section of Walmart/target/similar store. If I remember they come in a 4x4 sheet for a little over two bucks. BTW I like how you have your lights hanging on that track, looks slick.

Very true. The downside is that it takes quite a while for roots to form, but when they finally do, the growth will explode. Personally I prefer this method it's safer, no chance of roots snapping when transplanting to a larger container.

Yeah wtf haha I've heard some crazy shit on this forum but putting ice on the soil is a new one. But I give my plants 48 hrs of pure darkness before chopping. To be honest I don't even know if it improves the quality/yield, it's just some random broscience I've read on here.

Oh yeah, I totally forgot that I tried Royal Gold for my first grow. Good soil, but at $26 per bag, it's not worth it imo. Make your own for a fraction of the cost.
