I've got a 2x4 strip fixture with 10 strips, and a 2x4 fixture with 4 qb's, both in a 4x4 tent. Ive never seen either fixture consistently produce better growth/harvest than the other. Plants grow great under either one.

I was looking around Dr Earths website the other day, ran across this "Soil Detox". Sounds like it will bind with heavy metals and make them unable to be taken up by plants? It's pricey, but I guess if your gonna be using your soil for a while it might be worth it? Not sure how long it works...

Found the ingredient list, says 6% Fulvic Acid and purified rainwater. Guess I should have read a little further :bigjoint:

I've used it on plants before, but not this regularly. But Ful-Power may be completely different than the humic acid they used in the study. I didn't notice any crazy growth increase, I mainly use it to help with nutrient uptake. Keeping these plants fed in a sip organically can be challenging...

I'm confused about what Ful-Power is :lol: Their website says "Ful-Power is a high quality fulvic acid product"..... but the bottle says Humic Acid at the bottom. I mean I'm high, but am I that high?

Looks like they were applying a lot of humic acid, and they were growing in coco. There is a thread about this article.

Seems from my experience the sativas eat less per feeding, but their extended grow time means they probably eat about the same as say an indica when you add up the total amount of food used per plant. I'm sure over time certain strains became more efficient at using the nutrients available, but...

I've been watering in my dry ammendments with Ful-Power after my weekly top dress this run. My sips are only 3 gallons, running organic soil. Seems like it's helping break down the ammendments, the plants grow so fast its hard to keep up with their appetites using the dry ammendments.
