Finally the voice of reason lol thanks what makes this whole thing confusing is the time factor on most smartphones the clocks automatically update as the clocks go back an hour in October I figured if i just plug my grow timer into a plug in the kitchen then I won't lose track of the situation...

But my plants would receive a different time schedule for example if clock goes back I gotta make sure they don't mess there times up don't wanna be given then an extra hour ! Lol

Can't use plug timers I did during veg but I now have to run a dehumidifier so I have to do it the hard way manually so I switch the light on atm 7am and then 6pm off so when the clock goes back 1 hour smartphones will automatically update time so it will confuse my schedule so think i got it...

No I don't use a timer for tactical reasons I don't have enough plug sockets wires don't reach it's a nightmare i was using a timer during veg but I now have to run a dehumidifier and the plug that supported the timer which would switch off light on means anything connected will also switch on...

So basically the 5 PM is actually going to be my new usual time slot which would be 6pm but because they went back an hour its light off at 5 PM and light on at 6 am but because again they went back an hour its 6 am technically that's still my usual time Slot at 7 am so basically my new times...

Ok so hopfully I'll be in week 8 by the 29th october (daylight savings begin) currently lights off 6pm clock goes back 1 hour what time am I putting the light off? If 5 PM is technically 6pm but because it went back an hour time says 5 PM so I'm really confused

So the clocks go back 1 hour on the 29th October so when the time on my phone automatically updates it would mean bedtime is at 5 pm instead of 6 PM so do I just continue to put them to bed at 6pm? But isn't that giving them an extra hour of light? I am confused lol

I wanna try LEDs during summer I'm using damned 600w hps light atm lol they get the job done but can be so very hot and I'm only running it at 400w atm I'm to scared to dim it upto 600w because of my issues and I don't wanna create heat/light stress.
