    Flowering point, when?

@Craigson is right, adding to the confusion is that different breeders seem to use a different start point for counting. There have been huge arguments on here about when to start counting. My advice, don't count. Go by the plant. There are threads with lots of pics asking about whether or not...

    Been having trouble sprouting seeds

3 days in water, unless they were floating for most of that time you may have drowned them. I would get them out of the water and into either medium (jiffy pods, rapid rooters, soil) or paper towels. Paper towels have worked for me, but jiffy pods worked better. I have never had a seed pop...

Plants not happy... Any help guys? :/

Lol, "lightly fertilized", and if you go to their website it's fairly clear they know it's going to be used for weed.

Plants not happy... Any help guys? :/

So, I just googled that and it said that there are added nutes "lasting for many weeks" and that it's suitable for potting, so if it's what you have go for it. I didn't see anything in a quick look about any time release nutes. That said a small bag of promix herb & vegetable mix is only about...

    Nutrients in flowering stage?

I don't know what nutrients you're using, I usually use 1 part nutes, but you want to lower your nitrogen and bump up your phosphorous and potassium. Dropping the micros sounds like a bad idea too, sulfur and mag are pretty important for terp production iirc.

    Been having trouble sprouting seeds

By the way, including my hot peppers, the most effective method for sprouting seeds I have ever used is soaking the seeds for 12 to 24 hours, then straight into jiffy peat pods on a heat mat. Usually under a dome until seedlings poke out of the soil. I take them out from under the dome as soon...

What are you growing this 2020?

1 x Bakerstreet (hopefully the security cameras will keep it from being ripped this year) 1 x Bakerstreet x Unknown Sativa 2 x Unknown "Silver" early x Uknown Sativa (gift from a neighbour) The "Silver" early strain was stacking budsites while my Bakerstreet, a landrace indica (supposedly), was...

    Herms!

I have no evidence to back this up, but it seems to me that stress hermies throw nanners, and genetic have pollen sacs. Anyone have any experiences either way? The one stress hermie I made threw nanners.

    ADVICE

You may want to back off a little on the nutes, but if the plant is looking healthy I wouldn't worry too much. Do you check ph at all? I don't unless there's a definite problem, but I'm kinda in the minority there.

Ahhh, okay. Yeah, any dark coloured tarp should work unless they're pointing really strong lights right at you. The plants flower in nature with the full moon on em, so anything darker than that and you should be good. I don't know about the red clay because we don't have it here, but about 5 or...

I don't know anything about your soil, but I don't see why not. Is it labelled seedling mix or something?

Only one outdoor grow under my belt, but unless there's a concrete slab or bedrock 5 cm down, that should be good. However you can fill raised beds with any type of soil you want, and the roots will still have plenty of room to spread out the bottom. One word of warning, outdoors plants get big...

    Been having trouble sprouting seeds

Lol, google says that's just over 19 C. That's about when I start to sweat. I was going to suggest one of those pads. I put it under a folded bath towel, then the seeds on top of the towel. Never cooked a seed after I started doing that.

    First trial Autoflowering outdoor grow

Googlefu is great. Experience is better. I have used, and sometimes still do use clear pots. With the exception of the occasional algae growth early on, I have had no problems with my plants. If you want to continue to discuss this feel free to dm me, but let's not hijack this thread.

Light doesn't damage roots, I use clear pots sometimes. That said, you can get algae in the pots if you're not used to growing in them. It doesn't seem to hurt the plants, but I'm sure it doesn't help.
