    Day 39 of flower

The dead leaves in your pic weren't getting enough light to make up for the energy it took to keep them alive. It looks just like the interior of my outdoor plant this summer. Ripping off the leaves blocking the lower leaves would be a bad idea. The canopy is what powers bud development. I'm...

    Drying in low humidity

Paper bags work for me. We use a dehumidifier from about March to November, December for health reasons (it has an onboard hygrometer so it shuts itself off when humidity gets low enough) so we max out around 30 to 40%. I tried hanging the whole plant before. It was dry in 3 days. In paper bags...

    I need some help. pics.

Really? What strains did they cross? Just curious because I've heard some people think you can skip stabilization if you use stable parent strains. I've been looking into how seeds are bred, and you would be surprised to read some of the misinformation floating around out there. If you think...

Do Hermie Plants Produce Decent Buds??

No. Calyxes do not produce pollen. Pollen sacs and nanners do. Nanners are properly called anthers, and they are the pollen producing parts of male flowers. Pollinated female flowers cannot produce pollen.

Temps TOO Low? First Time Help IN FLOWERING

I would only be worried about it taking a little longer to finish. I wouldn't worry too much unless your temps stay low when the lights are on, as that could interfere with photosynthesis. Plants in your pic look happy to me.

Slow growth and a couple clawed leaves

Just tried to google that soil, but my German is too rusty to make heads or tails of the results. If it has added nutrients it may be too hot for autos + nutes. Your dark green leaves, and any clawed leaves will stay that way. How is the new growth?

    ‘The Claw’

    Soil, soilless medium, or hydro?

    I need some help. pics.

It took 2 weeks of entirely random interruptions of the dark period for 4 nanners to show on one of my plants, and I was trying to get her to hermie. If you have fairly stable genetics she should be fine.

Any Ideas On What This Is ?

I don't think it's humidity, I have the same humidity, temp range, and even 3500k LEDs on mine and I don't get anything like that. Only difference is I use promix herb & vegetable soil. And I'm growing a couple different strains, never tried zkittlez.

    I hate fungus gnats!

Cover the pots with fabric, like burlap, or appropriately sized fabric pots maybe?

Do Hermie Plants Produce Decent Buds??

Or you can stick a pin or needle into it. If it encounters a shell there's a seed. If not, you haven't torn apart a calyx.

Do Hermie Plants Produce Decent Buds??

A seeded female won't produce pollen. Only males and herms do. edit: Yes those are definitely calyxes, but I would expect them to be bigger if there were seeds in them.

    hermie!

So long as you're vigilant, you should be good. It takes a while for pollen sacs to develop enough to drop pollen, but I'm not so sure about nanners. I've never seen anything about how long it takes them to start producing viable pollen. I guess it depends on how worried you are about her going...

The age old question HPS, MH vs LED

So, @Houstonhydro, did that help you decide what to get?

Please recommend outdoor varieties that give indoor quality

Here at 43 north, it's not bad, but we also have the Niagara Escarpment microclimate. There are vinyards and orchards all over the place here, not to mention being surrounded by the Great Lakes.

Yeah, I was responding to @conor c. You should be good to do either, flip straight to 12/12, or gradually reduce the light. Whichever feels right to you.

I thought gaslighting was that outdoors technique of lighting up outdoor plants at night in warm climates to extend veg? Maybe we're talking about different things.
