Needs to be at 2.5x the price of the other usual suspects. ;) When you say 'best' what do you mean? Faster to read, stays calibrated longer, more accurate?

    Coco and ppm help

Oh? I feed every time with Promix HP. Depending on the plants it's every other day or every 3 days...though I feed to 25% runoff. Usually running 4-5g Maxibloom, Ca/Mg, Epsom salt. Sort of like a slightly slow moving hydro setup. Somewhere in the 800-950PPM (1.6-1.8EC) range.

    336x pro led

Training for a flat canopy, though that light isn't really that much of a bargain, even for what you paid for it. Inefficient blurple and all.

    Should she look like this?

Note that if it's moving nutrients from the leaves...it's moving/using them in the buds...so in the end it's not going to remove from the areas you're keeping anyway.

    PH calibration question.

    PH calibration question.

That's fantastic. That's the same one I have. I don't lose calibration more than every month or more, but would be happy not to waste fluid and have a stable holder like that to stand up the meter in. Sold.

    Should she look like this?

Flushing removes nutrients from the soil, but doesn't remove anything from the plants. I feed up to harvest without any feed back from anyone that it tastes any different. Also, I don't get the idea that if a plant is cannibalizing itself for nutrients it needs why removing accessible nutrients...

    Mysterious necrotic spots

I had been doing feed-water-water, and found my plants looked hungry starting somewhere in the water-water phase with an every 3 day (and even every 2nd day) schedule, so I moved that to feed-water-feed-water, etc. and still had a bit of yellowing. So I moved to feeding every time and making...

    PH calibration question.

Does this fit the head of a standard bluelabs pH meter 'pen'? If so, I may have to spring for this. I hate using little cups for calibration, then throwing out the fluid I've used.

How many days drying for this ?

That's 2 out of 3 important environmental factors. ;) The other is airflow...often that can add or subtract days to a drying process. You'd be amazed at how quickly ventilation or circulation of air can change drying time.

    Mysterious necrotic spots

I have really high EC water and spent a lot of time screwing around trying to get it to work as-is. Theoretically, it is high in calcium carbonate (well water) but I was having calcium issues with it. I've never been so sure that what is in the water is bio-available no matter what people say...

Exhausting out window in cold climate?

https://acinfinity.com/hvac-home-ventilation/ductwork/dampers-reducers-splitters/backdraft-damper-ducting-insert-6-inch-black-galvanized-steel/ It has baffles that are spring-loaded but only in one direction, so when your fan is pushing air out it's open but if there's a strong backdraft or...

Exhausting out window in cold climate?

Yes, that's what I do. It's effective at controlling temps and also if you have high humidity. I like the AC Infinity duct damper too, if you haven't checked it out.

    Mysterious necrotic spots

Generally speaking the RIU wisdom on ProMix HP as it's a 'soilless' medium is to treat it as hydro when it comes to pH. Took me a few grows to internalize that information, but once I did, things were much easier. That said, I think you need more calcium and also adjustment to your feed strength.

Exhausting out window in cold climate?

I don't know what the problem is. Sounds like without a vent it's getting too hot so retaining heat isn't really an issue? I'm also in a very snowy and cold part of upper NYS. I run my tent exhaust out a window with a duct damper on the end. Closes if the fan is off, and as more air is pushed...

In-line fan with Wi-Fi controller wanted!

I use the AC Infinity 69Pro, and used the 67 previously (as well as the 'original' digital controller), and have for a few years. If I did it now I'd probably get the new pro-plus one with 8 channels. My setup is: 1: Exhaust fan (ACI Cloudline 6") - set with a minimum always-on (usually 1, 2...

    Ph meeters

Agree. These kind of pH meters are great to get you off the ground for your first grow, but if you're going to continue, it's worth investing in an Apera, or Bluelab, or similar mid-grade consumer level meter as well as the storage solution & calibration solutions. I have a Bluelab right now...
