Brutal honesty time: should you flower after treating PM on plants in veg?

The pictures posted are covered in sulphur spray, looks a lot like PM as it coats the leaves and leaves a sulphur barrier. I’m doing a second spray tonight before flip, but wanted to see how others did flipping after treatment. side note: never had PM before, and these 2 were “gifted” to me...

Brutal honesty time: should you flower after treating PM on plants in veg?

So I’ve got to ask, since I’ve done a lot of reading and can’t find the brutal honesty. I know there are so many methods at containing/treating Powdery Mildew, and have exhausted most popular routes - however; wettable sulphur seems to have “nuked” it. Also, the environment is dialled in, But...

    Grinder or No Grinder?

I use a SantaCruz shredder and love it, but I find myself using my trimmer scissors more often than not; Keeps the trichs intact and gives me a fluffy pile to work with

    Any glass blowers here

I have the Nortel Red Rocket, I found a local glass studio that was upgrading their gear and made an offer, so it’s used, but discounted to get me going! Had to try and save money for the kiln (that’s the one thing I didn’t want to cheap out on) Do you have any local studios or places in or...

Spider mites at the end of flower.....

For predator insects in Canada, I’d recommend https://www.thebuglady.ca/ yeah that heatwave was nuts! I live Western Canada as well, wished then I didn’t! 40+C is just too much.

    I cooked these babies didn’t I?

They’ll live, with attentive care and being left to do their thing they should rebound. Though it will take much longer to veg, something to consider if your on a time frame. edit: sorry, noticed after posting you mentioned they were auto. In this case, they will probably just be smaller, and...

    Attack of the ants!

Diatomaceous earth works great against the ants, create a “salt circle” around the plant and they won’t cross.

    Is my weed moldy?

Hard to say from the photos, But from the description you’re giving, I’d say good chance it’s yes. Here’s some photos of mold I found, as reference. You’re looking for fuzzy white or grey fluff/patches, or musky ‘off’ smell. Hope this helps

    Is this bud rot/mold??

Just got back. Honestly went much better than I expected. I brought the bag in and showed the manager right away explaining the situation. They immediately refunded me without question, and are going to deal with it themselves with the LP. Damn. What an experience. Stickin with the homegrown...

    Is this bud rot/mold??

Thanks all for the confirmation. Not going to lie I’m pretty livid now with gov. Dispensaries. My lady is quite sensitive (hypoallergenic and diabetic T1) and she’s been smoking this too. She’s been feeling sick since I picked it up 4 days ago.. Whole Oz is going in the garbage after I tell...

    Is this bud rot/mold??

Bought an Oz at the dispensary because I’m between harvests and need a safe supply for my medicine, and I notice this while busting it up.. am I safe to assume this is mildew or mold? Or am I just high?

How do my 1 month 1.5 week old photo super skunks look

I notice a lot of water droplets on the leaves, I’d avoid getting any liquid on them unless I was foliar feeding early morning/evening when the suns not up. Reason being is liquid can act as a magnifying glass and burn leaves under the droplets. Otherwise it’s looking good

How do my 1 month 1.5 week old photo super skunks look

Awesome little spot Definitely ready for a topping. Agreed with @Tracker, IPM is definitely needed outside. This way you prevent issues happening before they even arise (and no one wants those!) I’d say top and keep on keepin on. They do look a little small for the time mentioned, but eh, as...

    2 months old

I think selective defoliation would be ok at this point. Just the larger fan leaves that are on the bottom quarter of the plant. If you want to get some light into the middle, you can tuck leaves behind others to open it up a bit more. It’s still a bit small for any major defol. The fan leaves...

Any tips for using wettable sulphur for PM in veg?

Finally got to checking them after last nights spray, they seem happy and coated. Hoping I don’t get any burns or damage. This is a new venture for me so doing as much reading as I can I’m thinking of waiting around 6-8 days before spraying down again, to make sure the new growth gets hit too...

    Is this Mold?????

Good suggestion for veg! Though I wouldn’t use a bicarbonate in flower, don’t want to smoke that stuff, It leaves a residue. also the mildew will be inside the bud as well, and it’s impossible to spray inside them Honestly I’d bag/clip all affected buds/leafs, and go with a PM wash with H2o2 at...

    Is this Mold?????

I’d check a healthy bud first, this way you know how it should look healthy, then the bad bud and if it appears fuzzy or anything not “normal”, cut it off. First, bag it before cutting, so you don’t spread any spores. (if you checked the bad bud first, clean the loupe with alcohol just so you...

Any tips for using wettable sulphur for PM in veg?

Thanks for the knowledge!! I’ll look into the bulb you mentioned and pick one up. I’ve been debating cutting the cord and lettin them go like you said, last thing I want is mildew or botrytis in flower. This is my last try at beating it, but if it comes back in flower I’ll just chuck em or (if...
