    sQUISHIN BUDS

It should work, before my machine I used to use a hair straightener and do push-ups on it for rosin lol. Can you adjust the pressure on your model? If it’s the one I saw on amazon, it should have a bolt that can adjust the plate pressure

    sQUISHIN BUDS

I usually put mine a little higher, when my box says 200f I know the heating element hits that, however it has to transfer that heat to the plates, and it looses a bit of that temp (since it has to travel through a one inch plate) also, I wait about 5-10 minutes before pressing to ensure it’s...

    Flowering times

Both Autoflower strains? If so, it sounds like one is actually photoperiod and will need the 12/12 flip to induce. It sucks, I’ve had a few auto’s turn into photoperiods myself, kinda messes up the game plan eh

    Not a weed plant

I’d check the gardening section here, it covers everything non-cannabis related https://www.rollitup.org/f/gardening.63/ Much more info on general plants / identifying seeds, hope this helps a bit! cheers

    sQUISHIN BUDS

Few questions to ask, just to narrow it down and get your goo flowin’ what temp do you run your plates? How long of a press are you doing? Do you press fresh flower or dried? there’s also a few methods on folding technique, do you fold or just stuff in? sorry for all the questions, but hoping...

    Mold or spider mite

I’d still be concerned. Spiders who nest in buds, nest there for a reason; I’d check for other pests.

    pH question...

I use potassium bicarbonate myself as a ph up, works fantastic. though haven’t tried alternatives. I’ve heard people use lemon juice as a ph down for Organics, though haven’t needed to make my water more acidic. As long as it works and doesn’t hurt the roots/micro biology you should be good to...

Guerrilla grow swamped out; advice to correct mistakes for next year?

Not a guerrilla grower myself, but.. it’s all about location, location, location. You could try and find a spot on an incline/decline hill, this would allow rain to flow through and water, but not puddle up around the bases. (Photo included is NOT mine, just a google image to show a hillside...

    Canada growers thread

Straight up. Story time: I worked in a BC headshop for years in and sold crop king seeds. They offered a limited edition pin with every purchase, and gave a “guaranteed” 80% germination success rate with flashy packaging. Kind of like dangling a flashy fishing lure to pull you in IMO. They were...

    Canada growers thread

Awesome to see a Canuck thread pop up, I’ve joined a few but they don’t seem to take off or gain a lot of activity. Hoping this changes that! West coaster myself, using as much local things as I can find in my grow. If anyone has any Canadian companies to deal with, would love to hear em!!

Looking for Tester-Spider Farmer SE5000 LED

I’ve never tried bar lights before, but would love to upgrade from my multiple mars hydro lights. I’ve heard only great things about you guys at spider farmer and that your lights are a good upgrade from my current setup, would love to try some dank genetics under it and see them flourish. Gonna...

Vermiculite as a source of silica?

Awesome, I’ll remember that and bump it up! Ive been wanting to try 1tbsp per gallon on my next grow, but thought I’d start low and take it slow before I go heavier on it

Vermiculite as a source of silica?

I’ve just been adding 1 Tsp per gallon of medium used with my beginning amendments Right at the flip, I like to topdress my amendments and water it in with some DE mixed in water (1Tbsp per Litre of water) Honestly though I’m no expert on DE, (still learning) and still playing around a bit...

Vermiculite as a source of silica?

You absolutely can I like to mix it into the medium with my beginning amendments, but you can also top dress it anytime. Sometimes I’ll mix 1 TBSP in with a litre of water and apply to the soil directly that way. It’s awesome stuff honestly; It helps having a quicker acting amendment with...

Vermiculite as a source of silica?

I always use diatomaceous earth for silica, the finer the powder, the faster it’s available for the roots. on that note: Vermiculite is granular, so it would take a long time for it to breakdown and become available for consumption. I’m sure vermiculite has a good source of silica, but would...
