End of summer here in Maine...nights getting down into the fifties, getting dark early. Nice balance of sun and occasional rain overall, although we did have a week of fog and gray that seemed to slow things down a bit with the plants. But they're doing fine. Everything's starting to really...

Just 9 acres. Males are small, in 1g pots, off in the woods. As soon as I collect pollen they get composted. You think that's taking too much of a chance? Done it the past 2 years and have not seen even a single seed in dozens of plants (other than branches I dusted manually last year), but...

Been a nice stretch of weather here in Maine lately. Sunny days, last couple nights have been cooler, down in the 50s, which feels like autumn. Starting to get that late summer/early fall golden afternoon light which I love. Brook had almost dried up a couple weeks back but with the recent rains...

You must be in one of the no-grow counties? And you're saying the Sherrif's Dept. actually spends time & resources searching for grows? What a dumb-ass backward waste of public resources. I suppose they figure they can generate some revenue from confiscated property? Asinine. I can see why fire...

Northern Lights #5 from these guys in British Columbia: https://islandlifeseeds.ca/. Got the seeds last year, really nice genetics. Early finisher, nice flowers, no issues. Definitely a keeper.

Coming along well here in Maine. Been a very dry July, ground is dry as a bone, but we're getting some rain here now as I type this. Good thing as the brook is getting very low which complicates irrigating. Noticed one of my Northern Lights looks like it's getting ready to flower. Can...

Looks like a great spot. Where is that? How many plants? What do you put in those holes after removing the sod?

Looking good. Any pistils show up for you yet? I've culled about 6 males so far but no females showing yet. Gang is coming along. Lost a few seedlings from some seeds another local grower traded me (Bubba Kush X OG Haze) because I carelessly put them outside one day when they were still small...

Moved a batch of seedlings from their "safe space" indoors for the first time, they'll live in this cold frame until they go in the ground after Memorial Day. Good to get them out in the air and sun finally. Nights are still getting pretty chilly but with the lid closed the plants do just fine...

That sucks, but as you say there's still time for plan B. I think I'm dealing with the same thing here with a bunch of my hemp seeds. The seedbank I'd been using appears to have gone out of business so I went with a different supplier. I think 14 germinated out of 50 and they look really weak...

A good hemp flower is every bit as tasty as mj, just way less THC, has other cannabinoids like CBD. Great medicine for all kinds of conditions.

Damn, way worse than what we had here in Knox County. Quite a bit of snow and wind with some tree limbs down but nothing like that. Power stayed on the whole time, probably just luck. I'm bracing for some wild and weird weather this summer.

Going to give the full-season photoperiod outdoor one more chance, eh? Last year was rough alright. Got my seeds in last night--planted the remaining Pine Tar Kush and Northern Lights beans I bought last year (6 each), plus the seeds I made from each of those and the crosses. Going to have my...

Show us a pic. of the PTK when you get a sec. Getting some nice purple colors? Maybe you have to be outdoors with the chilly fall nights to get that. Mine got pretty dark as we headed into October. This will be the first year I plant my own seeds--great feeling. Will be curious to see how the...

Nice work. How did the PTK flowers turn out? I'm about 2 weeks from planting. Snowing hard up here in Knox County this morning. Say, you probably heard about all those homes around Maine that have been getting bought up by mysterious Chinese buyers and turned into grow operations? Windows...

Effect is very nice, you never know till you try it since everyone's ECS is a little different, but I find it a combo. of uplifting/relaxing, not a couch-lock effect but then again I harvested when a few trichs were just starting to go amber, most milky. If you let it go longer it would probably...

Yeah, I was surprised how late the PTK was, think it was nearly Columbus Day before I harvested last fall, whereas Northern Lights finished in September. Probably lost about 25% of the flowers to mold but then again last fall was a weather nightmare as you well remember.
