    LED Grow Equipment

Hello everyone. I decided I am not going to go the way of CFL's, instead I am going to try out LED growing. I just purchased the Apollo Horticulture GL100LED Full Spectrum 300W in hopes that it will supply enough energy for three crops. The tent I went with was 36x20x62 By Gyosupply Any...

    Help! Crispy Leaves!!!

Thank you for your reply I've been so scared haha. Do the leaves every repair themselves or will they be screwed for good. I tried foliage feeding with Epson Salts and didn't see a improvement which leads me to think that you're right about the heat stress.

    Problem caught early. Any solutions?

Yeah buddy, I like to put polished stones at the bottom for drainage/reservoir. and than put my soil/perlite mix with worms and throw that over the stones. Though I only put worms in when I transplant.

    Spots on my leaves :(

Looks like you got spider mites. I would foliage spray and keep those plant leaves wet when you can. Maybe try diluted dish soap (bio degradable don't use bleach...)

    Problem caught early. Any solutions?

If you're using organic soil I like to put live earthworms in the mix to keep the root ball aerated and release fertilizer in the soil. as long as your worms are alive you will have rich fertile soil.
