Question about harvesting autos

image.jpg This my first auto grow, and my question is do you look for changing trichrome color befor harvest, or just go off of time, or something else. On non autos I look for trichomes, and bud color. The two below are 9 weeks from seed. Auto Jack Herrer. I was thinking about 3 more weeks.

you go by trichomes just like photos. alot of these breeders tell you it will be ready in such amount of weeks so they can get your money but different phenos will be ready at different times. also conditions and light periods will shorten or lengthen times

go for the time, and when the time is up ..look to guidance by the color of the trics, but its a personal taste/buzz thing

when the majority of the hairs dry up and recede is when i chop
usually you get a couple " pushes " of hairs
the hairs die out and get replaced
some auto's never really amber up until after chop and cure
so like i said i go by the hairs and the look of the bud
yours look like they still have some swelling to do
3 weeks sounds about right

Thanks, I've never grown auto before, and for the first month I had my doubts, but there coming around pretty nice. Can't wait to see how they finish.
