I would only recommend PHing your nutrient solution if you are using chemical nutrients. This is because the salts can build up in your soil and will negate the ph buffering capacity of the dolomite/pshagnum/clay or microbial population. There is no need to adjust the ph of your tap water IMO...

Umm. How are you testing TDS of soil. TDS refers to total disolved solids. PPM is the unti of measurement (parts per million). The only way I can think of is that you are testing runoff. But when doing this the water collects soil thus increasing tds.

Those spots are sometimes a sign of ph fluctuation. My recommendation would be to water 10% runoff and check ph of that. If its way off of 6.5 I would flush with ph corrected water and follow up with a light complete fertilizer. IMO
