Look for green or brown slime. I would just cover the holes and add some more nutrients step up to 300ppm maybe? Wait for someone more experienced to chime in.

How big is the res? Have you checked your roots lately? Algae can sometimes start to grow on the roots and block nutrient uptake. Half of a teaspoon for one gallon is enough not for more than that. Judging by the size of the container in the picture I am guessing at least 5 gallons. I don't...

In my experience I have noticed that ffof tends to be a little hot. I myself wait until the plants look hungry. In your case it might only last two weeks. During i feed with molasses for the micro herd wich helps with nutrient uptake. Good luck op

I would fill it in with pea gravel and use pots for optimal drainage. Unless you plan on growing trees :weed:

Just got a air pump and stone. I am going to aerate my nutes for an hour before use. It will add oxygen, evaporate the chlorine, and mix the the nutes into a homogeneous mixture. Thanks for the input.

Where I live my tap water is very pure. the PH seems to be around 7 and the TDS is minimal in the 20-50ppm range. I have been letting my water sit for a day before using it. Would it be safe to use right out of the tap? I am concerned about the chlorine. Any input?
