Day 38, ladies are asleep, things are looking pretty well right now. I've given them a bit of a haircut and will do the same again in a couple of days, so as not to shock them too much but to try and shift growth to the buds alone in the last 2 weeks as so many people seem to get good results...

Heh, I had a light drop on what is now my healthiest girl, she was knocked right out of her pot and looked proper crooked afterwards. Right now she is a little over 2 weeks ahead of being chopped and big, fat, healthy girl. Trust in nature and recovery will be just fine, I'm sure :)

5 Weeks down - Day 36. Been using the biobizz bloom, at first I thought they had stalled, but I took some photos today to compare to the last set which are 4 days old. i *think* the buds are fattening up, but its SO hard to tell. If everything goes to target I should be chopping in 3 weeks...

Looks like not enough light to me also, I'm afraid. Your plant looks...skinny, is the only way to describe it. I would consider adding in some more CFL wattage around the top of the plant.

I'm just going to correct here: CFL's do not cause stretching in plants. Light sources too far from plants cause stretching. I use CFLs and keep my plants low and are ANYTHING but stretched.

As heat loss is related to light loss, the answer is that 1x42 + 1x23 will be less heat due to wattage alone. As stated, you'll need more watts though. You could veg a plant slowly with that wattage, but will need to consider doubling/trebling it to flower unless you are happy with 1 small...

Rejigged my cab again (sunday ritual). Back to 420w lighting, new improved extraction and input fan. Increased feed strength to 2.5ml per litre. They REALLY peng now!
