how long did you veg the clone for before you flowered it and how long did you let it root for?

Metal Halide are the best for veg thats what i use for my mothers and veg room, but you can keep a mother alive with a couple two/tree cfls.

you won't shock your plants adding more lights just watch the heat.

unless your doing a gorilla grow where you want be going back until you harvest then why would keep the males that are not good for anything except making seeds in your buds. If you what to work while you smoke, then just smoke less of the good weed don't try to intentionally make crappy weed.

i would not trim too many at all they are the powerhouse for your plants, but a couple should be okay.

go with a 400 thats what i use just make sure you can adequately vent the heat. As far as your heat to yield ratio that makes no sense to me if where 90 degrees (still not enough to seriously hurt the plant) then you would lose 100 percent of your yield according to your chart.

you can keep a 400 watter much closer than 28 inches I keep my about 10 and have no heat issues at all. PS I have an a/c in the room.

yes you can start flowering now, some run 12/12 from seed and say they get two to three foot plants so I would guess this is where yours would fall, but there are a ton of variables.

I would veg them as long as you can, they will double to triple in size when flowering so if you can have a plant three ft tall when done then veg it until its a foot. I want mine to grow two four to five feet tall so i veg them until there about 18-24 inches.

i vote 4 hermie, i can't imagine you have a male flowering for seven weeks and don't know it.

the bottom of the plant will probably be ok, it may be in shock for a little while just be patient and keep watching it.

I would think you would be fine with the 1000 watter for six plants. less hassle than two ballast and replacing two bulbs instead of one every several months

i just started the church like two weeks ago. only two of my five fem. greenhouseseeds sprouted but they both look healthy but one is twice the size of the other.

if you unplug your ballast when its hot and running you have to weight at least 15 minutes before you plug it back in or it will not come on. I just did this myself this morning waited 15 minutes then no problems come right back on and its also a MH ballast.

you can try to remove them as they grow, but if you miss even one it could seed your whole crop so be very very careful.

you can fit way more than six plants in that area, you can easily fit 12-16 plants in there. I grow six under a 400 watter hps in a 3x2x7 ft area.
