try some fish emulision 5-1-1 if you think it needs nitrogen its all natural and shouldn't burn your plant if you use it properly.

depends on how well you can keep the heat down, I keep my 400 watter about 10-14 inches away but I have an a/c unit.

there are a lot a variables to this equation, like how big is you grow room what kind of lights are you using, soil/hydro, how often do you want to harvest, etc... I just started a perpetual grow and plan to take clones from my mothers when i put my first set to flower for nine weeks after that...
