    Guess My Yield (pics)

I just harvested my first real grow and don't have a scale yet. Anyone wanna take a guess on how much I'll end up with? Was 2 white widows that veg'd 6 weeks and flowered 10 weeks under a 400w hps and 4 100w cfls. Used fox farm nutes and molasses in soil. They were 2.5-3 feet tall from the...

    Bud topping?

Is there some sort of topping method out there that people are using to do something similar to this or is this common? I just grew white widow and about halfway into flowering one bud got too close to my hps. Approx. 1cm of the very tip of the cola was burned. Not so bad that it was black but...

    Left things too late.

Id say your best bet would be to find a summer job and work as much as possible. Things aren't looking up for you growing and with the kind of plan you have, you prob aren't gonna make a whole lot of cash, even if it does work out.

How long would u say she has left? PICS

Are they pollinated or something? To me, they either look like they have flowered for a long time but are VERY airy or they are just starting but are pollinated(brown hairs already).

    Help me figure out this.....

Haha, this is funny. Set the arrow in the middle to the approx current time in the circle. Then set the green one on the time you want the lights on and the red on the time you want them off. Looks like the white is am and the black is pm. remember that the timer turns clockwise so the times...

how long for seeds after crack?

18 of 20 of my seeds cracked about 24 hours after putting them in wet paper towels. now its been more than 60 hours and only 3 show signs of growth since opening. Is this normal or should I assume they have all died?

    Early sign of male?

Picture isn't great but I'm gonna guess that first one is a male. I could be wrong but I had several with similar looking structures at the beginning of flower and they were all male. Keep an eye on it.

    plant laying down

Yes, it is common for new plants to have week stalks at first. Loosely support it in some way and get a light fan on it... not enough to blow it over but enough to shake it around a little. It will stiffen up pretty quick. Also, get your light as close as you are able so it wont keep stretching.

First grow question - should I have found seeds?

the seed is the reproduction. if it is fully developed, there should be no more reason for it not working than any other seed.

Even if it wasn't a fire hazard, I can almost assure you that you will end up ditching this design at some point for something a little better. Might as well do it now.

Green light ok in dark photo period?

Many growers, including myself, will use a regular flashlight or even regular lights to go in during dark. As long as you aren't in there long I personally don't believe it will make a difference. Outdoor grows are constantly experiencing moonlight, headlights, streetlights, etc. and they are...
