How long to seeds need to dry?

I just did a few straight off of a living plant and a few that were a couple weeks old. Nearly every one sprouted fine. Better than the ones I bought.

    Big Prob, Need Help Quick

Most of them were about a week old and had been growing in the window. A few had just sprung up but the smallest ones were the least affected. They all seem fine. It's the older ones that are having a hard time. I am limited on what I can do for temp. It gets pretty hot here and my room is in...

    Does Watering 'Wake' Your Plants?

Umm... plants don't sleep. There are constant chemical processes taking place in the plant that change mostly based on light. Basically, they use light to get and store energy when available, and break down sugars for energy when it is not available. They are using water at all times and as long...

    My First Indoor Grow Challange

Well you should def use a fan to stiffen the stems. As far as growth goes, they are young. Often in the first stages, especially after replanting, they will invest a lot of energy into establishing a root system rather than foliage. Id give it a little time. My guess is, unless you've screwed...

Well I've attempted to bring the heat down some and increase the humidity. Any chance the drooped over, mostly dead plants can revive?

    Estimate please...

Fimming is just topping twice, but at the same time.... And its much harder to do correctly.... And you're gonna get about the same yield regardless, it'll just be more branches with smaller buds. If you veg until 30 in and then go to flower, I would say youll be in the neighborhood of 4oz. but...

    Harvesting

No offense to you, but this is 100% false. I really don't know how so many people could think this is how plants function. Even with only common sense to go by, there are flaws with this idea. That being said, I find it much easier to trim before they are dry. Less mess. dry bud tends to fall...

    Cigg ashes

a lot of the stuff you want out of soil is burned in ash, rather than broken down and usable. there could be small benefits but I would highly doubt that they outweigh any common grow methods.

    Big Prob, Need Help Quick

I just put 30 seedlings into my grow room and after 36-48 hours they are all dying. I have a 400 hps and some cfls. temps have been hot, maybe 100, but nothing outrageous. I did 2 things different this time. I used filthy rich potting soil that I transplanted them into just before putting them...

temps up over 90 in the day!!!!

You must live where I live... But to the OP... I grew with daily temps between 85 and 100. May have lost a small amount of its full potential but it turned out to be a pretty average grow with no problems.

    1st time need some info

I've heard of people harvesting the top of the plan and leaving the bottom, under-developed buds for a couple weeks to finish up. Never tried it though. That what you're talking about?

Can I veg flowet then veg

yes, its common to put them in flower for a few days to determine sex and then go back to veg

is this a hermaphodite? please help first grow about 2.5 weeks into flowering.

No... Looks like a herm in that first pick to me, also. Even looks like there is pollen on that lower leaf. Does look mostly female though. You could let it go and get some seedy, smaller buds if you wanted. Still smokeable and you'd have more seeds. Could have been the heat. If you let it go...

    seed question, problem
