is this a hermaphodite? please help first grow about 2.5 weeks into flowering.

everywhere ive read people say they switch to 12/12 then within a week or two you see signs of sex, i dont understand i guess.

It was a female, it is a female, but he said himself he interupted the 12 hour dark period, thus he stressed out the female plant, he confused it, he broke the dark period, so it turned hermi, it would have had small sacks at the bottom where his arrow is pointing, he never seen them, they opened and out came the pollen the white dust he is pointing out now that he has seen it.
So yes in life it was going through a female, not all plants do this but this one has turned hermi.

Looks like a herm in that first pick to me, also. Even looks like there is pollen on that lower leaf. Does look mostly female though. You could let it go and get some seedy, smaller buds if you wanted. Still smokeable and you'd have more seeds. Could have been the heat. If you let it go, get a spray bottle and spray your grow room down and spray and wipe your leaves down. If you dont get anymore bananas then you may be able to keep most of your plant from getting seeds if you get rid of the pollen thats already in there. Happened to me. I cought it early and ended up with seeds only in the very early buds. The rest was good.

You do not need to wait till you see pre-flowers in veg to prevent hermies. Pull off those male flowers and you'll cut down on the pollinated parts of your plant. Some bud may still be salvageable and you can smoke the schwag too. Make sure you keep her/him away from your autos. Good luck.

Sorry to hear that dude, i was going to say to you id keep it going but if you say its got to much on it id get it out and be gentle doing it, am also glad you have been givin more good info from fellow growers who know what their talking about, all the very best with any more you have on the go, we all live and learn, chill.

well why get rid of it? its my only plant in the closet...my autos are in a different room and their just seedlings so they couldnt possibly get pollenated right?

Mmmmm its possable, you would only have yourself to blame, its risky !

I threw mine into flower in a little over 2 weeks, and mine did not hermie.. and have done this with several of em so I dont think thats a factor when talking about plants turning hermie
