both of the germination methods u tried should work... Nevertheless they consider the second method of soaking in water and planting the seed straightaway better..the point is not to mess around with those delicate roots too much ..That causes what they call STRESS for ur babies...whether ur...

firstly u cannot be doing with ' a cfl light throughout you grow ' ..if so u need a one with nice wattage ..and then hw many plants are we talking of??? u have to consider that too....for me start off with a container not too small or too big...if its too small ull have to transplant it quite...
