Pick up a cheap mercury vapor light fixture. MH uses the same ballast and socket. Around here any tractor supply store carries them, think there like 50 bucks. I picked up mine at an auction with a 12gpm submersible pump for 2 bucks!
Ya CS definately works, I have 2 plants that i did this on and one has a female top with no male flowers but with male flowers mixed in on the bottom half of the plant. and the one in the pics with few female hairs in the lower half of the plant but has a full male top shapped as a female top. I...
nope not from fem seed. The plant is a northern lights f2, made seeds 2 years ago with a male and a female of northern lights. Its pollen when used on a different female is suposed to make fem seeds. From what I have read it is male pollen with the XY female chromazones. Ill have to test them...
ya hope it gets me some good fem seeds. sprayed the plant only once with cs about a month ago. got to figure out where to put it so theres no pollen flying around everywhere.
guess silver really works.
ahaha sprayed this plant about a month ago with colloidial silver to try making some fem seeds. "It" was a female a month ago but in the last 2 weeks it has totally reversed its sex. Thought it was female 2 days until I looked at it today. little freaky
This is the northern lights that I sprayed with CS. Its pretty crazy cuz 2 days ago I still thought it was all female and then looked today and saw shit loads of nanners forming. Going to use some pollen on another female. hope the female seeds arnt hermie.
The first 3 pics were from 2 days ago...
Check out the thread in do it yourself. making fem seeds using colloidial silver.
i have no personal experience using fem seeds so I dont know if they herm much or whatnot. but i have read more good stuff then bad using fem seeds.
well I sprayed 2 plants with colloidial silver about a month ago on 2 outdoor females(1 northern lights,1 napalese grizzly). I sprayed each only once with a heavy dose and later decided I did not have enough plants outside to do this experiment and started to spray only a small clone regularly...
very nice grow ya have going, youre gonna get some serious weight. I'm so jealous.
Couple questions,
when did you start them to get em that big? All from seed? got a plan figured out to help hold the buds up when it starts putting on weight?
Thanks for the info. Now I want to get some chickens and rabbits. Do you use this for every watering for soil? Do you ever make tea with compost out of your vermicomposter?
The sooner you start them the bigger they will get. I find if I start them mid april they will finish at around 6-8 ft , mid may 5-7 ft, start of june 4-6 ft if left untopped.
gibberellic acid does the same thing. If you can get GA it will work. Colloidial silver is a different method but with the same results. I just cant get any GA. I set-up a CS generator to make my own 2 days ago.
