Thanks for the help guys I'll transfer the grown ones into the the cubes now then and set an oscillating fan on them - I haven't got my proper ventilation system up and running yet, I didnt think it matters too much at the moment, does it? and we'll see what happens from there thanks

Not long to go then if they gotta be a 1/4 to 1/2" long although 5 of them have done nothing. I was led to understand I can make a hole in the top of the roclwool cube with a match and carefully drop the seed in. Hope this all goes well

Hi I finally have some tap roots appearing after moving my seeds from a ceramic mug to paper towels, how much taproot should be showing before I plant in the rockwool cubes. Can anybody help please? Thanks.

Right just got them out of the mug and into a load of paper towels soaked through. In the FAQs on this site it says you can't leave them in water in the mug for too long, also the guy in my hydro shop said the same. Hope their ok cos those seeds cost 50 notes

I understand this Al, and I understand what an EC meter measures my only point really was that it may be better to top up with nute mix rather than plaint water between tank dumps (whenever you do them), making sure there are plenty of the necessary nutes available.

No beacause as you say we don't have a mass spectrometer to see what we need so we would not top up the nutes enough to make the k100% as you suggest but instead we would top up until the ppm is correct, if this is done with a regular mix of nutes you couldn't make anything be 120% you would...
