I was looking at this fan controller from Home Depot and wondering if it would work and be ok with my fan. I have an Eco Plus 6" inline fan. Also if anyone owns one of them could you tell me how well they work. Any help will be greatly appreciated...

Cool. Have you tried finding a hydro shop and getting panda film/visqueen plastic cause its cheaper than mylar and in some ways better.

Honestly i would save up some cash for lil while and build a frame with 2x4s and drywall. I doubt that plastic will last very long and it has the chance of ripping. In the long run it would be better and u would have less problem. Sorry if i shot down your dreams right now but its always better...

:-PBeen thinkin about coco and maybe going hydro-organic, seeing as i have done better with hydro. As for plant size im thinkin 18-20inches tops. What type of system would suggest for coco and why?

What do you think the most number of plants is that i can fit under 400 watts in a SOG setup? Not decided yet on wether to go with soil or hydro.

Wow ive never heard of those stands. Anyways, can you at least safely get it up on a ladder and maybe go from there? you secure some eyebolts in the ceiling run some heavy duty rope through them, attach to the filter and pull it up. Idk hope that helps.

You could probably do it but i dont think your going to get the best results, especially if the plants are above it. How were you planning on hanging in the first place.

If your going to do this make sure u get a "full tower" case so you have more height, check ebay for cheap one. Also i would look into growing lowriders IMO. Anyways good luck.

Lookin good ;). Ive built two of my own, and learned from my first one to put the studs on the outside like you did. What r u going to use for walls? dry wall is a cheap alternative to plywood.

I would say yer best bet is to lollipop em. But i have heard of and seen a more advanced way of LSTing where u train the main stem into a circle/spiral and the side branches will grow upwards

that 465cfm fan is kinda over kill dont ya think. Use the 50 instead.

How bout settin yer plants up stadium style on shelves with the lights hanging vertically and no reflector
