Is, getting a little run off every time I water going to achieve a much leaching as 1 or 2 big flushes would?

Yeah that's exactly what happened. I just started growing last year. I heard that I need to flush and that with fox farm I don't need to flush. But I do have to.

Is, getting a little run off every time I water going to achieve a much leaching as 1 or 2 big flushes would?

It's prob true about the ro water. I was using very hard spring water. I got the water analyzed and it had decently high levels of salt concentration.

Is, getting a little run off every time I water going to achieve a much leaching as 1 or 2 big flushes would?

There was a specific issue. I was growing in fox farm soil and using their nutrients and watering by hand. I had a couple great grows but when I changed from bottled spring water to a local spring that we drink I started getting issues that I tracked back to be lock out due to salt build up...

Is, getting a little run off every time I water going to achieve a much leaching as 1 or 2 big flushes would?

Last run I switched up the water I was using to a local spring. It had a much higher salt concentration and was very hard. High alkalinity too, I think. I'm really still trying to learn about water atm so I don't know exactly what I'm talking about. But after using that water for a month I...

Is, getting a little run off every time I water going to achieve a much leaching as 1 or 2 big flushes would?

That's all very helpful, thanks guys. I only considered getting runoff during waterings and not feedings. But if I'm understanding correctly I should also be getting runoff during feedings bc the new salts are replacing the old depleted less helpful, most likely harmful ones.

Is, getting a little run off every time I water going to achieve a much leaching as 1 or 2 big flushes would?

For instance, if I got a total of 5 gallons runoff throughout an entire grow am I removing the same amount of salts as if I ran that 5 gallons through all at one time? In a way I would think I'd remove more build up doing it slowly over time because the concentration of salts coming out of a...

Anyone ever used or use a Microbiometer?

That's good to hear about rainwater. I could prob get enough. I've been thinking about everything you guys said last night and I think I could work with the spring water. The more I think about it it gets a little bit simpler and easier to understand what you guys are saying. Either way I...

Anyone ever used or use a Microbiometer?

I have some Langbeinite. I'll look for a report on the tap water. What did you think about the one for the spring water? I don't think I'll use it anymore. I may try tap or just buy bottled spring water. It's like $5 a week to grow 3 plants. I can afford that.

Anyone ever used or use a Microbiometer?

I don't have to use this water. I only grow 3 plants. I could buy spring water. When i did that the plants did fine. I've got the stuff together to start collecting rain water if that would be better. I don't really have the "know how" to deal with the changes I'd have to make to deal with...

Anyone ever used or use a Microbiometer?

I do have to add a lot of pH down to lower it. Much more than when I use bottled spring water. You guys have both been very informative. I'll have to read through this quite a few times. My understanding of science is pretty embarrassing. But I'm learning slowly. Things like what you...

Anyone ever used or use a Microbiometer?

I couldn't help myself, I had a little time to read. I've only read through the water stuff but almost everything single thing you've inferred was correct. Except the water doesn't come from my faucet. I go once a month to fill up buckets, it's close by, but we still have city water at the...

Anyone ever used or use a Microbiometer?

Well bro I love reading! I got get going to work but I'll have this to look forward to reading later. Everything else you've shared has been very helpful, so I've got some pretty high expectations, lol.

Anyone ever used or use a Microbiometer?

No way bro, that was again very helpful to read. A lot of stuff in there that you said. I've heard a podcast with Coot's where he said exactly that about his mix. It works bc of "his" EWC. That's really why I figured I'd get the soil tested. What i really got excited about was the water...
